I had a really bad day yesterday. Today is not looking to be much better. I could really use some hugs. Lots of heavy emotional shit. (is it ok to swear a bit? I am sorry if it is not-- but it was just the most appropriate word I could think of.)
Keeping the above staement in mind, this is a disclaimer that my WWW is going to be pretty depressing, so feel free to skip over.
I wish I could sleep all day.
I wish the cleaning elves (not the faery!) would clean my house own house for me.

I am soooo tired, probably because the past 3 days, I have been up to the wee small hours scrapping, its like my crack fix, if I dont do I will shake!!!
My 3W's for today are
I wish for the Housework Fairy to come along and blitz the house!
I want to see the end of the laundry basket!
I want today to not hear MAM!!!!!!!! in a 56.5 decibel screach, or, even better I want not to say, Please stop fighting! just for a day
Ok, I know its only 3, but I am greedy, and I also wish for a big secret room where I can hide from the family so I can scrap in peace? :D

First....HUGE hugs to Faerywings(((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))! I truly hope that you have a better day. I don't know if you have control over what direction your life is going or not, but if not, then you just have to have faith and take one day at a time to try and embrace the path that has been laid before you. Just something I try to think of when I feel that way.
Today is a good day! Hubby went off fishing this morning and will be home tonight to watch the kids while I go hang out with some friends kid free. This is the first time in like MONTHS!! We are gonna have some fun!!!

(2) I wish my minivan could put out more greenhouse gas so we could have tropical weather in Iowa in my lifetime (I know, global warming is a bad deal, but I hate cold weather!)
(3) I wish I were an octopus so I could fold laundry and do dishes while holding my baby who's recently concluded the umbilical cord was severed too early in our relationship
Oh, and one more: I wish my Congressman would stop hanging up on me like I'm some sort of nutjob. I really think we can make this extra hours thing work, Vicki. I'll keep trying until I get arrested, OK?
Have a roast simmering in the crock pot. Mmmmmmmm. Today is one of those days that calls for roast, and the Sample Lady at the grocery store hooked my daughter on crock pot mix that is essentially onion soup mix in a fancy pouch. Hey, though, if my picky eater will eat it, I will buy it!

speaking of cold....... I went out the door this morning wearing the coat that worked for our unseasonably 51 degrees recently..... umm girls it was a blinking 1 degree with a serious windchill... I thought - go get a winter coat.. because I have a serious cold myself with a hacking cough...... but nope - house was locked & I pressed on.

I will take all of your snow ladies ... seriously!! I LOVE IT!! I was sitting outside this morning with my coffee in Shorts and Tshirt ... that is NOT right for the 29th of November. ***no no no***
Olivia had Jr.Kindergarden registration this morning **yawn** been there done that ... hmmmm a couple of times. LOL Now don't get me wrong I love all of my children equally ... however it's a pain in the arse ... a waste of time IMO ... and well yeah I just hate the thought of another 12 years of brainwashing with another one of my children. Oh if I was only disciplined enough ... there would be no more school.... Yeah so for those of you that haven't figured it out yet ... I hate school ... in a BIG way. But we just won't go there ... :)
Went and had coffee with a girlfriend ... :) Oh girlfriends really are a necessity in this crazy world. Can I just say thank you to those that missed me and were glad I was here as usual this morning - you made my day because I was feeling a little surplus to requirements earlier :wink: And I've even got a mention on Vicki's blog!! My joy knows no bounds :lol: :lol:

I've been doing it for the last 42 years - and here's the good news... it doesn't get easier! :D But you know what, you do learn to cope and you do find something, even just one thing, to make a day brighter. It's not easy, but that makes that little bit of brightness all the sweeter, really, it does :D
I'd like you all to know I did battle with Microsoft Word Mail Merge... and I lost :cry: It just wouldn't actually print the darned envelopes it so wonderfully merged!
But The Happy Moo was victorious!!! She nipped into Microsoft Publisher, merged all 47 addresses to their envelopes, and printed them!!! Got the 10 Christmas letters done too :wink:
And now, here's something to cheer you all up: I defy anyone not to smile at these two You Tube clips. This first is my favourite, the original Gary, with some other bods slipped in - he's actually famous for this! Numa One (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK12XrnHcxs)

Oh yes! I've been doing it for the last 42 years - and here's the good news... it doesn't get easier! :D But you know what, you do learn to cope and you do find something, even just one thing, to make a day brighter. It's not easy, but that makes that little bit of brightness all the sweeter, really, it does :D
I'd like you all to know I did battle with Microsoft Word Mail Merge... and I lost :cry: It just wouldn't actually print the darned envelopes it so wonderfully merged!
But The Happy Moo was victorious!!! She nipped into Microsoft Publisher, merged all 47 addresses to their envelopes, and printed them!!! Got the 10 Christmas letters done too :wink:

Ok girls - remember my mention of cold this morning? Well tonite after work it had warmed a whole 5 degrees to a TOASTY 6 degrees - and mr. radioman said we had a 30 below windchill.... uh huh BRRRRRRR

I'm sorry I'm in so late tonight. I had a really busy day, doing swaps, birthday stuff (today was the actual day for my dh's 40th), and getting some stuff done for the LSS I teach at.
Connie, I am not missing that negative number wind chill at all. As a matter of fact, I called my sis who lives in the Seattle/ Tacoma area and gave her a hard time about her snow/ice and I was sitting in the car in which the external temp registered at 83 degrees (translation for metric girlies...HOT!) I had to rub it in today, because the temps here are supposed to drop 40 degrees by 4pm tomorrow. I laughed and thought of all of you yankees (yes, i really am one, too, but my Native Texan DH still loves me!!) when I listened to all of the mumbling about cold weather...like we'd have a snow day if it were 40 degrees! Texans can't understand what COLD is...too funny!!
Chris, I'm with you, girl!! I hate it when days are stinky!! Let me know if I can do anything...

Krista, I actually had to drink my hubby's FULLY LOADED coffee this morning because we were out of decaf...I'm going to Starbucks tomorrow...I was tooooooo BUZZED this morning!!
Since Wednesday is almost over, I'll pass on the wwws...I have been getting all of my wishes lately...beautiful children, fantastic family, clean house (I finally hired someone to help me get back on track!), marvelous friends, and a great place to hang with friends...OSCRAPS!!!
