I decided to start organizing in acdsee and I was wondering if there was a way, after I have put somethig in a category, to keep it simplified in it's folder so that I can only see a preview of what is in the folder instead of everything showing. I just thought it would be easier to only have to scroll through the folders in the categories instead of each item. I hope this makes sense.

Hi Annelise - Have you looked thru our tutorial for Getting Started with Photo Manager? (http://www.digiscrapinfo.com/files/details.php?file=2)

If you start by categorizing your previews -- then you can click on 'previews' and only see the previews.

Then when you want to go to that kit - you right click then use 'Go to file' and it will pop you into that folder.

It's pretty cool!

If you deleted some of you previews - it's ok -- you can easily create contact sheets for them. We can help you with that.

When you're ready to do that - ask over at www.digiscrapinfo.com & we'll help you.

And you'll probably want to look at this tutorial next as you get started. Organizing your Alphabets.

1. I wish I had a free day of, however I have still two hour to work
2. I wish it stopped raining (it's raining here very hard) and it's very dark outside
3. This evening I want to finished my layout for the AAM challenge.

1. I wish and want my boss to understand my point of view from yesterday; we shall find out today.
2. I wish I won the POWERBALL; gotta go buy my ticket here shortly LOL
3. I wish I could breathe freely...I feel SO compressed with this baby girl inside, it's not even funny...yeh I know, normal...but that's an understatement at this point LOL

I want to do something really fun with Marilyn today because I actually didn't get out of my pj's yesterday.

I wish I was still walking distance from a grocery store and 2 minutes away from the zoo, but I do love my new house

I wish it was nice and sunny out, the temperature is currently dropping and the wind is picking up.

My W&W's...
1. I wish I didn't have the whole dang PMS thing going on.I only get my period every other month or so, but it is a killer, just about everytime.
2. I wish the choc covered pretzels MIL gave to me didn't have any calories b/c I could really really eat the whole box happily.
3. I want to get another LO or two done today, I feel so far behind.

DS gets his braces off today, yay! He'll get a permanent mounted retainer for about a year, and he is so excited. But bummers-- still no gum/sticky stuff. It has been amazing to see his teeth straighten out and how much his face has changed shape.

Sweeet, wishing you win Powerball too. BTW, when are you due?
Erin, my house is 2 minutes from the grocery store, but I also wish I was 2 minutes from a zoo or a museum!
Mar- I wish for you that the 2 hours fly by quickly.
Nina hope you get everything done w/o too much stress.

Woke up this morning wishing for a snow day...
looked out window...
one inch...hardly any snow!
Checked online weather...
no school delays...
took shower...
checked email...
fed bunnies...
got lunch prepared...

and then my hubby said to me...
"WHERE are YOU going?"
"To school..." this teacher said!

Nope...
cuz there is a snow day!

Today's my birthday, but I don't really have anything special planned. Our friends that usually watch Mia for us are out of town until tomorrow, so we can't go out tonight. Maybe this weekend. :) But it's my birthday, so I'll take every opportunity to do whatever I want today (within reason--I mean, I can't NOT work today, or ignore my mommy duties...oh, well)!

Haven't been here in a while. Came back last week from our Holiday trip more exhausted than I left. I don't think I need to explain travelling with a toddler to any of you ? He has developped one strange habit that is waking up at 4h30 in the morning singing loudly "Petit Papa Noel" which is a french popular christmas song. DS wanting to pull out Santa from the Christmas tree, pulled a little too hard and it fell on him, and he was still singing "Petit Papa Noel"...so that was the end of our Christmas tree, we took down right after this week-end.
I'm tired and drowsy this morning especially that I had a wisdom tooth extracted yesterday morning.
Thinking that I need to be more organised in my scrapping in 2007. Anyway wishing all of you all the best for 2007 and congrats to the new aunt to be. Keep us posted !

i went to the doctor this morning to consult with him about the gardasil vaccine (the cervical cancer one)... you may have seen the commercials for it. well, i found out that the entire process is spread out over 6 months, 3 shots, and about $500! and my insurance won't cover a dime. :( eck! oh and because it is so new, they have no idea if i will need a booster shot in 5 years! anyway, i guess it's worth it...

oh a happier note, today is mine and jeremy's anniversary! woo hoo! :)

Bummer re: the vaccine. I wanted to look into it since my dd is going to be 9 this year and they recommend it between 9 and mid 20's right?

faery - yes, the age range for the vaccine is 9 to 26... which is part of my problem. i only have about six months left to get my first shot. :( i'd love to put it off a little longer! BUT, you might want to wait a little longer for your dd, since it's so new. maybe more of the insurance companies will warm up to it in the next few years.... we can only hope so!

and thanks! we're going out for an incredible dinner on saturday night to celebrate! :)

boy, I am sure glad that www.ocraps.com doesn't exist.

And yes I do use bookmarks, but sometimes I type links in posts and my fingers don't get all the keys.

My biggest mistake was typing a website from memory to send to a friend. It was a free tool that worked with canon cameras and I had just sold my camera to her daughter. Anyway, my friend passed on the link to her husband to install the software. He brings up the link and it was a porn site. Her husband starts joking about the friends she's around. She emails me back about the website. Boy was I embarrassed and immediately sent the correct website (cut & paste this time.)

Can anyone link me to where I could find a 4x8 or 5x7 card template - (not holiday)? I am interested in using it for a thank you card for my twins 1st birthday.

Im not sure if this site has them. I've seen them at other sites.
Vicki's templates are for 12x12, but you could re-size them.

Are you using photoshop?
I can help walk you through making a template if you can't find anything to buy.

I have a set of card templates, but they are holiday ones. But if you like any of the designs i can tweek them to papers you need or just a plain template.

Wow Vicki! Alyx had a long break. Back to a routine now, eh?

And I'm ready for work (ie - dressed a bit differently than I was for the weekend...lol). I did get a lot done though (the list isn't empty yet though).

Heidi & I've opened our website & it seems to be handling traffic. I"ll post a thread about it. We want people to check it out (Heidi doesn't want me to say - 'try to break it'). We will be having our Grand Opening from Jan 24- 31 -- so that will be fun! with prizes and all!

It's supposed to get colder... but it is January.

We drove late yesterday to Daytona and the beach was so crowded we endup going to Ponce Inlet, it was less crowded. I'm hoping it cools off this week..

Good Moooorning, ladies...

I had such a busy weekend! (Tiff, I made it to the surprise brunch before the guest of honor Saturday!! can you believe it???) I'm thinking about taking today off to recurperate. I actually have not been feeling up to par lately...when I run myself into the ground, I get really bad exhaustion and can't do a thing for a while! So it's time to take it a bit easy.

That being said, I just sent my husband on a four day business trip to Corpus Christi. I've decided to join him with the kids (couldn't find anyone to take them for two days...oh well...!) on Wednesday night and come back Thursday. I hope to meet up with TIff in Victoria on our way down Wednesday! My kids will need the break after driving several hours. They need the break right now and we just started school this morning!!! YIKE!!

Anyway, congrats, Danielle on the engagement ring!! Keep us posted!

So, good morning everyone! Not too much exciting going on with me, today. Just work as usual. I think I might have done some exciting stuff over the weekend, but as usual, I can't remember... LOL Am I the only one who does that? My weekends are such a flurry of activity (jamming stuff in) that I have a hard time remembering what exactly went on come Monday (and I don't even drink!)... Anyways...

If you feel like shopping, I'm having a little birthday sale today through Wednesday (even though my birthday's not until tomorrow--hee hee). Everything's 27% off because--that's right--I'm turning 27! ;)

Good afternoon y'all! :)

Today was also my son's 1st day back to school after the holiday break and on our local news it was stated that the city had worked OT to clear the ice off the streets by his school (he attends a school outside our city and district...actually it's a block from where I work, NICE!)...so when we got there, HELLO...the roads still were horrid. It was like 4 x4'ing in a sports car...well it actuallly was! LOL BAD and I was fuming along with all the other parents dropping their kids off at the front door rather than the drop of points.

I didn't go into work today though...had muscle spasms in my lower right hand side of my back and it's prolly normal due to the pregnancy, but I was just not feeling well..along with a lil tummy bug. I think I'm over that now this afternoon. Figures.....

Other than that, in about an hour and a half, I'll be heading back down to pick up my son and head back up home....we will hit Wally World to pick up some last minute items for dinner and lunch this week and tonight I'll be playing bingo in SBG..wooHOO, can't wait! LOL

Hope y'all have a GREAT day. I hear we're in for snow by the end of this week or next....*gulps* Snow Snow Go AWAY already!
