:) Good morning...

Today the weather here is foggy and grey, and it`s starting to get colder....
Norway is known as a winterwonderland, but this year; NO SNOW!!!! For my first time ever I didn`t get my white christmas..
Our lawn is green!!! The first lamb was born yesterday, and they usually get born arund march/april... :? Strange weather conditions...(maybe written in one word?)

Anyway,- todays plans are;

Do the laundry....(It`s a must,-believe me!!!)
Get the mail....(Probably only bills, but ...)
Get my daily portion scrap...(Totally adicted!!)

Have a nice day, everybody!!

Hello! It's so cold here. The past couple of days have just been bitter. We've been keeping an eye on the weather in Denver. WOW! I knew when we'd leave we'd miss all the snow. Two blizzards in two weeks! (Last year we had the warmest Christmas on record there.)

Today was a great day. DH arranged for a sitter this evening so we could go out to dinner by ourselves. Doesn't happen all that often. Funny thing, all the waitresses were wondering where the boys were. It was nice all the same though, very quiet and enjoyable.

moooo-ring!

Nina - keep the cofee coming. We woke up to no heat/hot water. Thank all the gods that we still have electricity b/c then we'd have no heat/hot water/computers! LOL
I have a call in to the oil/furnace co. They don't get in until 8am. Poor hubby had to head to work with no shower.

Have fun with your friend too.

Lenemor, that is scary about the weather. And they say there is not global warming. ha. :x

Inky- how awesome to go out-- like on a date! How old are your boys?

I'll be around a bit today, sipping coffee and/or tea trying to keep warm!

Good Morning!!!!!!

Nina~Have fun visiting with your friend!

Lenemor~I miss the winter snow as well but I definitely agree there are strange weather conditions all around the world.

Inkspots~Sitters are difficult to find here in HK so whenever I leave without our DD our gaurds always look at me funny and ask... where's the baby? Too funny that the waitresses were asking for them! A peaceful dinner without kids sounds wonderful!

Faery~No fun to have no heat or hot water! Hope it gets fixed soon. At least you have a great excuse to drink lots of coffee!

Our day was pretty fun... our interns mom is here visiting so I took her to the Jade Market and bought some Jade earrings (Christmas presents... a little behind here. :D ) and matching pearl neckalaces for me and dd. I love this market... gorgeous jewelry for very cheap!

Now I'm off try and get some work done but I'll probably just scrap. LOL

Good morning everyone,

I agree with Lenemor - we don't have much snow either. And it's very warm 30 degrees every day -- no complaints there.

Today I have to work a full day.. I'd rather stay home & scrap.

But I'm backing up all of my hard drive to one of my EHD's right now (I thought I started it last night - but it didn't go). Because yesterday at work my personal laptop gave me the blue screen of death - my heart froze -- if I lost all of my scrapping supplies... I would be sad.

So I hope you all have a good day! My sister will be back tonite.

Moooorning y'all!

I stayed up way to late last night - like Nina, it was around 3 when I went to bed. Just couldn't sleep. ick. Alyx has a friend coming over to play today and I woke up a few minutes ago in a total panic that I hadn't heard the door or phone and that we had missed him - I hate waking up like that, especially when it's not real lol. He's not due for a bit yet so I'm trying to get as much coffee down as possible before he arrives.

We have extremely strange weather here as well. We've gotten real snow instead of just ice and then short sleave t-shirt days mixed in with bitter cold. Global warming indeed.

Today, I'm going to finish up a new kit that I am sooooooo excited about! It may just replace midsummer night's dream as my favorite kit!!!!!

I'm going to finish organizing the January collab- oh it is one awesome kit!!!!

I'm going to get the newsletter out.

I'm going to finish my niece's Christmas gift.

I'm going to really try and get all of those things done lol.

Okay that's it! I'm buying a coffee maker this weekend! It's such torture to hear about the wonderful coffee and not have any, lol.

Nina - Sleep and scrapping. Who could ask for a better day? Those are two of my favorite things. Throw eating in there somewhere and I'd think I died and went to heaven, lol.

Lenemor - Will the lamb be okay if the weather gets cold again before March? I bet a little lamb would be so cute.

Inkspots - Whenever I'm out on my own everyone wants to know where my son is, lol. Sometimes it's almost like they're worried I forgot him or something! But isn't it nice to get out sometimes?

Chris - That sucks about the hot water. Lately a hot shower is the only thing that warms me up for the day, otherwise I freeze my butt off all day!

Melissa - Good luck getting your work done, I have some to do too, but like you I'll probably end up scrapping.

Connie - LOL my dh calls it the blue screen of death too! Is that like an official computer term now?

Vicki - Good luck getting things done today. That's some big talk about knocking MSND out of the top spot. Now you've got me itching to see it. I might have to stalk you on hello later, lol.

For me today... hubby started work ridiculously early today which means he'll be home ridiculously early (1:30) so my goal for today is to get everything on my list done before he gets home so that we can just hang out for the rest of the afternoon. I don't think it's gonna happen but a girl can dream right?

Have a great day everyone!

Happy Friday to all
Can you believe 2007 will be here in just a few days.

I've been pet sitting a friend's dog, who keeps leaving me "presents" to clean up. Ugh Ugh Ugh. Glad it's her carpet...
Could it be because she's missing her family? She has a doggy door, so there's no reason she can't go outside...

Anyway, I'm working at Panera, free wifi, lattes, etc. what a wonderful morning.

I'm finishing my last DWI story. I stood outside for 4 hrs on a Friday night/Saturday morning hanging out with the local law enforcement watching them arrest drivers....it was a "good night." They busted 10 drunk drivers and made a total of 28 arrests on other drug, alcohol and other charges.
What does that say for society?

But a friend is coming for a visit, yea! and were going to hang at the local scrapbook store tonight!

I have to finish a digi book I'm making for a friend. It will give her 2 pages per month for all of 2007, so she can scrap her 3 yr old...No fuss scrapping...just plop the pic on the page, add journalling and go.

Have a good day.,

Good morning, ladies! Looks like I didn't manage to escape the nasty stomach bug that's going around here after all. I spent all day yesterday horribly sick, but like magic, I am feeling 100% better today! THANK GOODNESS!

Not TOO cold here in MI. Probably in the 40s (which is extremely unusual for this time of year in MI), and yucky and foggy out. But weird as this sounds, I am enjoying it. Having grown up here where the weather is constantly changing and sometimes pretty miserable, I get SO sick of the constant sunshine in Florida--makes me absolutely crazy sometimes! (It's like those perpetually cheerful people that you just want to strangle because they're sugary sweet and happy ALL THE TIME--LOL!)

Anyhoo...I'm still working while I'm here in MI, so I better get back to it. I really miss my Wacom and my PSCS2! Haven't been able to scrap at all (although DH has PSE4 on his laptop), and boy do I miss it! :)

Good morning all. I'm still sick as can be but I'm hanging in there. I hate colds! Today I plan on working in my office area a bit as everything but my computer is still in boxes. I'll take some pictures when I'm done!

Good Good Good Morning all!!

It was a fantastic morning! I have found us a house, it is beautiful, it has plenty of running room for my boys, and it is really affordable!!! I went and viewed it with the realtor this morning, and the boys made themselves home with all the toys out there. hehe. Now to get all the legals and paperwork done and get all the money stuff worked out. :)

It is so hot here....like low 80s!! Maybe no winter at all for us down here. bummer.

Sounds like everyone has a busy day.....have fun with your activities and will talk to ya tommorow.

ugh, is it 2007 yet? I'm soooo ready to be done with 2006, and I'm REALLY looking forward to my tax return, LMAO.

One of my resolutions is to hang out here a lot more, I swear, I get sucked into DST, and do NOT give love to any other forums, I'm awful. :(

I'm so sorry to all who are sick, I hate that. I've been lucky, but I swear as a mom of 4 kids, I think my antibodies could rival Superman's....lol. Either that or because I'm so busy (aka scrapping, lol) I don't even noticeI'm sick. Either way, I'm feeling for you all.

Vicki, sooooo looking forward to seeinmg the collab kits, The Gift is seriously one of my all time faves.

Ronee, walk, no RUN to the store and buy a coffee maker, how do you survive? LOL, I;m nothing without my POT of coffee. :D It sounds like Nina would whole-heartedly agree with me.

Lenemor, that lamb sounds so very sweet. I can not believe the weather either, my kids wore light jackets to my mother's house on Christmas Day, sooo weird, we usually have a white christmas here in Ohio, or atleast SOME snow in December, I think it flurried one day this whole month, and even that didn't stick, so very weird.

Jamie, you seem to have the opposite of us! LOL, hope you manage to warm up some. I love that comment from the waitress, hopefully you tipped her extra for being so sweet to remember your kiddos! ;)

Faery, how ARE you coping. I can not do without my hot hot hot steamy showers, really, they are the only 5 mins I get to myself each day! :) I hope it all gets fixed and back on soon!!!!

Melissa, I am SUPER jealous of your pearls and jade. Since you are apparently like me, and can't seem to stay away from scrapping, maybe do a LO of your gorgeous new bling? Yes, I AM an enabler.

Connie, what a wise wise woman you are. I have yet to back up ANY of my scrapping stuff or pictures, is that HORRIBLE? I've had my new PC since July, how often should I backup? Do I have to buy "backup" software? Or is there a way to do it with my plain old Windows stuff? Either way, you rock, and I suck. :)

Kayte, have a wonderful time with your friend, I have a few I have been negelcting. :( and sorry that your friend has such a, errr, giving...dog. lol

Genevieve, as a Ohioan, we share a lot of weather, and I can ditto your feelings on having a bit of it all eacj year. I was just telling DH, that even as beautiful as some of the warmer clmates are, I LOVE my blizzards, snow, ice, heat waves, drizzles, and puddles of mud. :)

Last but not least, Erin, I hope you feel better soon, it is NO fun to be sick this time of year. I hope you are recovered in time to have a great New Years!

HUGS to you all!
