Good morning girls :D
Congratulations to all of us who managed to knock things off our Wishes & Wants List yesterday, and thanks for joining in with me :) I did two of mine: designed and printed my Mum's invitations and got the household budget all done :D I might even be part of the way to achieving my third about not panicking as I realised that we're actually more organised this year than we ever have been!
Connie, did you manage to plant your daffs? I cannot imagine being outside when it's that cold so more power to you :)
Chris you can be bitter for a while, but I won't let you be that way for long. No, it's not good for you and you have to be jolly like me :wink: And I hope you realise I'm saying that tongue-in-cheek? :wink:

I have to agree with you all it's gorgeous - so who's getting it, who is going to be first to use it and show us a LO?

Jane, you are a doll- and an inspiration.
I was only able to get to one W&W yesterday. I hit Michaels and Rag Sgop on my way home from working at MIL's. Got a mail caddy and some $1 frames all ready to paint.
TOT.... hmmmm. locking myself in my room-- alone-- for the day sounds wonderful doesn't it? I could just scrap and scrap- and do my crafty stuff for the Xmas gifts....
Sadly, no.... I have a "shopping date" with my friend and my mom-- Xmas shopping-- and will be out all day.
I have found that I dislike Xmas shopping. I am so much more looking forward to my holiday baking this year. I think I am going to pull my DD out of school for one day to help me bake. She is doing soo well in school and has not missed a day yet.... so I think it would be fun- and some great "bonding time" for both of us.

Goooood mooooorning! I feel WOW today! Yay! I need to start another WOW thread one of these days LOL.
Yesterday I spent all day trying to figure out the CSS coding for the newsletter so the fonts wouldn't be too small to read. It ain't perfect but I realized toward the end that it was a ridiculous venture as we are getting ready to switch systems LOL. Ah well, atleast you could actually read this one.
So, this morning - I'm making that turkey!!! Have to as the party is at 2:00 today LOL.
As a matter of fact, I'm going to go do that right now!
I'll be back later with my ToT!

happy moo day - thursday, all!
I got to go to the LSS and pick out a bunch of stuff for a Valentine's day Card class I'll be teaching. It's hard to think about Valentines when I haven't had my turkey! That, and a stop at Game Stop to get my ds some games for his birthday (actually exchange one and get credit and get another with that credit - very cool!!). That was my shopping yesterday...and I still need to get those invites out! I'll be e-mailing a bunch of them so people will actually come to his party!! Yike!
My TOT is walking past the dirty dishes without touching them...not reallly exciting, but very tempting!!
Gotta go iron.

Making Play-doh men with my ds - check!
Oh and taking a nap this afternoon while ds is sleeping - yet to do but planning on it!

OK I totally need to be working BUT I can't leave without say 2 things:
1. Vicki Turkey #2 is ADORABLE, turkey #1 looked like he had the Bird Flu.........bahwahahahah
2. I absolutely HATE glitter. Not digital glitter, that's OK, but real glitter seriously makes me have a physical reaction. It is soo bloody messy and impossible to clean up.......whew I feel better :D

I am here - sliding in a bit late - but here after all!
Ummm Jane - no daff's have been planted. I worked 9 hrs yesterday & today was 14 hrs. That's pretty much all the daylight. So it will wait. But tomorrow I'm getting a perm (taking my laptop to do some organizing there), then I'll come home around 3 pm & I can plant them.
I don't feel so wow - 5 meetings & 4 hrs of driving later - almost brutal. Anyway - glad to see all my friends! :D Hey girls!! My EHD arrived today -- new hardware!! woot 250 gig I think.
And girls please forgive me if I don't moo to everyone. Jane I wasn't around today to chat with, sorry - but glad you & Gen visited!

Hey, it's almost summer here in Melbourne and two days ago it was hailing and snowing! We had like the lowest temperature recorded on Wednesday since 1914! I was wearing gloves and a beanie inside the house! And today I am in a Tshirt! :shock: What a wild, wild weather!
Oh.. since I don't know much about what's going on here (I have to go READ all the threads!!!) I got some news: I am now a contributing artist on the Digital Artist Magazine team! Woohoo!
