The start of another week and time to get serious about everything I have to get done! It's a pity I'm sat here yawning and it's only 8.20am :lol: I think I need to set a target of what I'd like to get done today so I have something to aim for, otherwise DH will be home from work and I'll have achieved nothing!
Connie, where's the ghost? I could't see it so I can't say how to get rid of it... Should I be worried I can't see it???

Jane, those pics are great. I remember learning about Guy Fawkes-- it always seemed like an odd thing to celebrate... LOL!
I can't believe it is Monday already. Thankfully, we only have three school days this week. The kids get off for teacher's convention Th and Fr. Doesn't mean that mom is off (heh) but at least I am not battling with homework and all.
My weekend was busy but nice. Cait set the table for us for dinner last night. She put out wine glasses and had dh light candles. Then she wrote a little poem about how good her family is. After dinner she had us sit by our candle (there was one for each of us), make a wish and then we blew them out.
My kids (when not fighting over who looked at who funny) are the most incredible amazing kids. I am blessed to have them.
And then for not quite so serious bit of info, I let Cait do something fun to my hair. I'll have to take a pic to show you when I get home from work. Until then.... just wonder.....

I'm moving slow today - stayed up watching a movie too late last night. I watched American Dreamz with Hugh Grant, Amy Moore and, oh dang it, what is his name... oh well. It was a RIOT! Totally a funny commentary on the world we live in. Some of you more rabidly political types might fight it hilarious or offensive LOL.
I guess I better get my behind in gear...

OOOh I want those kids what a lovely thing to do... I am very happy for you that will make a great scrap subject :D
I had a productive weekend, I took all the curtains down and washed them and the ceiling fans as well. I cleaned the cupboards in the kitchen replace the stickies and rearrange my garage that's when I stopped.
I would have done more then I found a snake underneath the shelves and I lost it screaming my head off, byt he time I was done I had a headache from the shock. Brent said it was a garden snake call racer, i didn't care what kind it was. :o
I have a company coming today to fumigate and Brent is going to put one of those bar at the bottom of the gargae door so no more intruder.
As you all know I have a phobia of Snakes, I end up taking a sleeping pill, last night.
Jane luv the fire pic. i need to learn how to take them.
New challenges are in the forum.
Connie I'm trying to figure out how to resize 2-5 pics at the same time with the same proportion similar to the transform tool in PSCS2, any idea?
Connie please share some more ideas on how to organize all the goodies we've purchased and downloaded.
My sister is coming from Kuwait for 2 weeks this Wedn I'm very excited.
The bad news is she goes to Iraq after wards. which really sucks...

Let me see - today I have run errands all morning and made a side detour to the art supply store - just a little bit of heaven for me. Didn't get anything this time but just spent about 15 mins just absorbing all the great sights - like tubes of paint and a rainbow of colours of chalks. Oh it just makes my imagination go wild...
Now back to work - I have 3 LO and a card due this week so I better get my butt in gear after my DS goes for his nap.
Now I am off to go colour in cool new 'Diego' fake tattoo for my little guy...

Yep, you did great, Crystal! And it's kind of fun. I use the topic review panel underneath & scroll thru everyone's comments so I can easily respond (without straining my brain) & not forgetting someone.
Jane, those photos were awesome! Long ago I played with an SLR & time elapsed photos of fireworks. It's fun! I DO want your curry recipe please. The ghost of an image is in the top left of the wall. Just not sure what to do with it.
Aw Chris - that dinner sounded wonderful! How lucky you are - and what thoughtful kids you have. Treasure those moments. (we do want to see a lo!)
Thanks Vicki for reminding me that it's 99 cent Monday - so I can stock up. My dh & I have taken to watching a movie when dd is working during the week. It's nice to have some quiet time together (& not a loud tv show on with the changer going blip every few min's).

As to the resizing - are you referring to doing that in psp? I'd have to ask at DST or look in PSP's help.
Organizing idea - well a couple of things - 1) be consistent & have a plan; 2) try to keep up with it 3) if using something like acdSee - do the elements first. I did the previews first & that was silly. 3) do a bit a day rather than overwhelming yourself
Crystal - your trip to the art store sounds heavenly!! I just finished 2 staff eval's & start my site visits this aft. I have about 20 to do. The good news is: remember my bulk mailing? it seems to have went out ok. whew! big relief... and the man that I taught email & ebay to - well, he won an auction! I can teach shopping uh huh!
Speaking of shopping - last night I ordered an ext. hard drive. 250 gig for $99 Circuit City (my sis found it).

Good news for me. My laptop is fixed and I get to pick it up from a buddy this afternoon! Yea!!
Tonight my 12yo is doing an acting showcase. She is presenting a monologue and a scene with another girl, a comedic scene...she gets to do a southern drawl, and it's so cute!! So I'm looking forward to that!
Maggie, I'm glad it wasn't me that found the snake. I'm with you on all of that! In fact, I'm thinking I shouldn't clean very thoroughly, just in case! (just kidding~I won't bring that subject up again!!)

www.acdsee.com - free trial for 30 days, but if you want the $5 discount buy within the first 2 weeks. There was also a coupon floating online that brought the price down to $28. There's info in a thread in the tutorial section. Ronee & I were 'talking' there.
Once my ehd comes - I plan to put all my photos on it - and get rid of duplicates. ( I was famous for dl'ing the same photos into different folders)
Two cool things that acdsee does is make contact sheets (for kits); and search out duplicates & then you choose which you want to delete.
I've recently been working on simplifying - even deleting kits that aren't of very high quality.
Once my ehd comes - I plan to put all my photos on it - and get rid of duplicates. ( I was famous for dl'ing the same photos into different folders)
