Last night I went to bed dl'ing Carla's stuff - oh baby! (Yesterday I was supposed to be looking at Vicki's stuff & helping her when my eye was drawn to a kit below in the store - & I went *woot* that's Carla's! I did get back on task though) So this morning I woke up thinking - we're Gibson Girls!! But who were they? (I was a math/science person - didn't give a fig about history).

So I decided yeppers - I feel like a Gibson Girl! (glad their's no suffering involved!). I love that image - but it's copyrighted by the USPS.

So tell us how you really feel about being a Gibson Girl - are you as excited as I am to work with Carla's designs?!! Let's hear it girls. And I want to see photos of Oscraps Gibson Girls in those avi's - so we can get to know you (I am the worst with names).

I was going to put up my little cartoon avie up, but...what Connie wants, Connie gets! :wink: ETA: no matter what I do, I can't get my avie to show up. It's the right size...hmmm.

Hey everyone!! I'm supper excited! I cant wait to get to know all of you and get started working with Carla's kits! Haven't had time yet but I downloaded and drooled!

A little about me Im a SAHM to 4 great kids, Melissa the oldest is 12, Keith oldest son is 9, Emily is 4 and my baby Ethan is 10 months now. Dh and I just bought a house in Chugiak AK so we are getting settled and Im getting into scrapping again. I've been scrapping since 98' I picked up digital scrapbooking the beginning of this year and Im loving it!

My name is Tara and I am 26 years old, married and have 2 beautiful daughters aged 6 years and 22 months old. Totally addicted to digital scrapbooking too. LOL. Great to see some faces I know already too. *waves to Kwirky, Nat and Heather*

Hi all you beautiful, intellegent Gibson Girls!!! *waves!!!*

I just found this thread, obviously I have been forgetting to wear my glasses!! I'm beyond excited to be getting to know you all better, I'm an 'original' Gibson girl! Carla accepted me on her team when she did her first call, I'm so proud of her and how far she has come in such a short time. hugs sweetie!!


I see Tara and Nat have made it over here *waves*!! I know there are more of us around so would love to see them make their way here!!

Hi there, I am desi on all of the boards... just thought I would stop by.

I love the title "Gibson Girls" the persona reminds me of classic style... kind of like Carlas designs......


The "Gibson Girl" was created by Charles Dana Gibson. The Gibson Girls were a series of illustrations, a "look", an influence on fashion. The Victorian "glamour girl".

So excited to be part of the team.
