I recently returned from a 17 day trip to Brazil. I took more than 1,500 pictures (I went for the newspaper, so lots are duplicates).
Today's a snow day (I can't get my car uniced to go into the paper), so I'm working from home, working up all of the pics to do a wrap up.
How many would you put in a digi-travel album?
Would you just hit the high points of each day?
Would you organize it by themes?
Traveling
The orphanage?
Sights and sounds?
Traveling into the city?
etc?
Just wondering, hoping to get some ideaas from your creative minds.
wanna see some of my pics...I posted while I was gone on my blog,

The trip starts in Oct., and goes until Nov. sixth ish...

That must have been an amazing trip...
As far as how many...not sure what to tell you...
Have you thought of doing a digital slideshow as well as a scrapbook?
This way you can use them ALL!
Hugs!

well - not sure if this will help - but I made a book of my photos of my trip to New Orleans.
It was for a work conference - but I took loads of photos. At first I started chronologically but that got frustrating - so then I switched to folders of what made sense to me.
I ended up with a 41 page book (the trip was only 4 days). But I created pages on:
my first impressions, the hotel, the sights, the sounds, highlighted my meal at Emeril's restaurant & the trip to his store, some pages were full page photos for impact (that were just outstandingly beautiful photos), a page on store fronts, some pages of homes, a page of Anne Rice's house and text about my taxi ride adventure...
So, yes I did it by themes.... because that made sense to me. And less painful for the reader than chronological. You could even do an index page that could be fun... (man - am I a librarian huh?)
I was very pleased with the result & have a nice memory of my trip. I never printed one hard copy of any of the photos & my dh was so impressed with it that he said 'this is the way to go'. So I went & bought a laptop! and haven't looked back.
Hope that helps! There are a few pages in my gallery...
oh - and my passport is in the works - so I'm looking forward to more travel. So if others have good ideas, let me know! There was someone at DST that had some beautiful travel pages..... here I had popped them in my favorites there... because it was a trip to London.... Jane I AM coming!!
