Hi girls,
The clock is a ticking - but today I am ordering gifts! I have a 3 day weekend & stuff has to get done!
It's warmer out today, but I'm staying in. I took some photos of deer sleeping in our yard last night. The zoom on my new camera is pretty cool.
So I'm going to get going - so I can come back & play with ya'll!

Well it's a PA day here ... so all the girlies are home from school today ... woot!! :) Last night was parent teacher interviews ... ewww ... but the girls are doing FABULOUS!! I am super sonic proud of both of them. They are both working really hard this year ... and their marks are showing it. ;)
Today is just a cleaning/scraping/dancing day ... hopefully the girls will get outside at some point with Olivia to play in the snow too. ;)

And yes - there were 6 deer bedded down, but only 3 visible (the others were over the hill). I know I know - I'm behind on posting photos. I'll get some up today when I get the work done. Then I can play!

Yeah, I have all day to play! The shirts are ironed, the house is relatively clean, the kids are at school, errands ran, oh of course there is more to be done but it can wait.

So, cleaning and sleeping deer, huh? I second the request for pics, Connie! Show us! :)
And as for cleaning...um, yeah, I need to clean, too, but it's not getting done today. lol MAYBE tomorrow...
Busy weekend ahead. Well, busy Saturday, anyways. Saturday evening DH's broker is having her big Christmas party for all her agents. She's taking us all out to a very nice restaurant. I'm excited about that--an excuse to dress nicely, go out with my hubby, and eat a really expensive meal that I don't have to pay for! ;) But also Saturday--and this one really annoys me--I have to go to a bridal shower. A bridal shower for a wedding that isn't until NEXT SUMMER! Honestly, WHY did they need to have the shower in DECEMBER of all months! LOL Anyways, I can only show up at the shower very briefly because of DH's Christmas party. So Saturday morning I need to find a shower gift, and I would *like* to get my nails done (since I haven't had my nails done since WAY before Mia was born). We shall see. :)
But today it's just work as usual! :)

Hello Ladies,
I'm in a weird state of mind this morning, just went to the hairdresser's and had her cut my hair over my shoulders. It might seem like nothing but I have had my hair long since age 5 and this morning it was almost to my waist. I can't get used to myself. I Love it and hate it at the same time. (So much for wanting to look like Sandra Bullock in The Lake House). I'll be back, going to look at myself in the mirror one last time to see if I know that person.

Happy Friday Ladies!! We made it through another week. Of course, that brings us one week closer to the holidays, but oh well.
Personally I am having a pretty ok day. dh has made it to work 4 out of 5 days this week. Thank goodness....maybe he will even get a small paycheck today. How cool would that be???!!!
I don't want to get my hopes up, since he has made it back to work for a few weeks ata time before, but hopefully this will last.
At his last inf disease dr appt, the dr said it sounds like he has chronic fatigue/post lyme syndrome. And it can take a few years for all symptoms to go away. Yikes.....
Been busy here- my house looks and smells like a craft store puked all over! I finished three of the 7 gift basket orders I had, made two baskets for my own gifts, been working on my dad's heritage album, scanning pics of me and my BF for her dvd/movie I am making, and painitng some desk organizer stuff for my mom. I also have been trying to wrap presents too.Sounds like fun!, right? Maybe...I am not sure yet. LOL
Connie- cool about the deer, bet it looked so peaceful- you still have a lot of snow right? That photo is oging to look like a Christmas card (ah! Forgot I have to work on those too!!!)

Yes - the photos are coming now ladies. I think I was successful in my craft area - dh just went & looked & said it 'looks like a bowling alley' downstairs. I had to ask for an interpretation - but it was good (meaning boxes & stuff not all over). Remember - he described new fallen crystalline snow as looking like mashed potato flakes.....
So now we need to get the living room settled. I've decided the new loveseat belongs in here because the blue in it matches my wall color & it really cheers the place up. And I really do love it! Ok - going to work on photos... just have to decide where they'll be hosted.

I'm feeling really lame because I have the same thing planned every day, well, until I start unpacking anyway. Other than that I'm gonna clean my house becaues it exploded last night, and I've got to take some pictures today. I have no material to scrap!

Hey, everyone go give your kids some hugs. Mine will be getting them when they come home from school.
A school bus from our school district crashed this morning with children injured, some airlifted to nearby hospitals. It was NOT my children's bus, thank goodness, so I know my kids are okay.
Now, trying to get back to playing/scrapping and stop thinking about it.....

posting rather late but thought i'd try and get in the game now that the internet is officially back up and running....
it's actually saturday morning here and a busy day ahead for me. taking dd to her 'little gym' class today which should be a lot of fun and then we have a christmas party this evening which i know will be fun and have lots of GREAT food! the family that is hosting this is super wealthy and they have the most amazing foods for their parties. :D
i finally got some scrapping done last night and started on a new kit too so I'm pretty pumped about that.

Sorry I'm getting in sooo late. You all know about all of that cleaning you were talking about...that was me (to get ready for the cleaning service to come!! Yike!) today, and I have a sick baby...my 4yo dd. I know a lot of you have experienced this lately!
But, my tomorrow is really busy also. I actually think I'm enjoying this season more than last year. Last year, I decided I wasn't going to play my cello for any special services or weddings or parties (except one with my hubby - he's a pianist...so fun to play together!!). This year, I wanted to play a couple of church gigs, and started stressing until I realized I was doing okay timewise (yes, I'm in denial about the 16 days I have left!!). I am having a great time seeing so many LOs and reflecting on the season through journaling and everything. Soooo fun! I soooooo love Christmas!
Anyway, I have a rehearsal tomorrow morning, then a Christmas tag making class at my LSS, then tomorrow night we are getting together with my mom to make the "Wilton Ultimate Gingerbread House". Can we say lots of pic opportunities??
Did I mention I love Christmas???
