A baby boy kit, but not in the colors blue but soft lime and beige. I have tons of babyphoto's of my grandson Kay but all his clothes are soft lime or beige. However they didn't fit with the usual babyblue kits. When I find a lime kit most of the time it's a babygirls-kit or to 'adult' for a baby .

But all your kits are so beautiful so I'm looking forward who is the winner and where you came up with. Waiting patiently.

oh, I TOTALLY second Mar!!!! My nephew will be arriving sometime in early January and his nursery is a pastel green and ivory with black furniture. Very elegant and off the normal baby color path.

Cant wait to see what you come up with Leah! And thanks to Vicki for offering a prize!

How about an adoption related kit! A topic near and dear to my heart!

While I'd love to do that, I can't help to direct you to one of our designers (Ronee) in the store who recently released adoption related kits! And Melissa Rose released some word art!

How about a Real Men kit? :D Maybe orange-reds, browns (dirt from hiking & biking) & muted blues & greens (like olive). I've been having a hard time looking for a kit to scrap some photos of my husband & his friend of 40 years. They've known each other since they were 5 y.o., they're outdoorsy (hiking not hunting), small town boys who now live in big cities and still playful & sweet.

How about a NEW YEAR'S EVE/DAY theme?

Colors - black, silver, touches of red and blue, maybe green, gold and GLITTER everywhere! :)

suggested elements:
the year 2007 of course
fireworks
confetti
a clock with the arms getting close to midnight
balloons
those paper things you blow and they uncurl (forgot what they're called, LOL!)
champagne bubbles ;)
word art to celebrate the new year

How about a kit in warm cozy colors like rich reds, browns and beiges. The type of colors and textures that make you want to curl up by the fire with a cup of warm cocoa.

How about... a digiscrappers kit?? and before you think I'm nuts, I mean a kit ABOUT our addiction, oops, I mean hobby?? Off the top of my head, I can think of printers and monitors and mouse(s) and computers and cds and ... oh, all the tools of the trade. Not cartoony, but done in a classy kinda style so we can use it to document what we love to do! After all, my son looks for me in my computer chair first thing in the morning ;0)

color-wise?? mmm... I dunno, that bar up there looks pretty good to me (the oscraps "theme" colors) ... the blue, reddish, yellow, green and tan one that are the circles and the bars and everything else around here. Beautiful combination!!

How about pink/white/blk for a baby girl? My baby girls nursery is based on an "Ooh la la" theme. It has fluffy white & pink poodles, the Eiffel Tower, and lots of french words like; Je t'aime, Bonjour, Ooh la la, and Amour. There's gingham prints, stripes...so much fun! Here's a pic of the bedding and such: http://www.babysupermall.com/main/products/kmg/kmg615033.html

Too cute! I'd love to make some pages of their baby pictures with a kit like this.

Hmmm...let's see....wow! this is hard! I like picking a number better! :) LOL, okay, so my MIL and FIL has this patio table and chair set that has these amazing striped cushions. they are banana yellow, melon, salmon, a little bit lighter than lime green, coral and almost a blue that's the color of the light blue in the lines underneath the oscraps header. The colors are just perfect together! I think it would make a fun springy, summery kit! But, not specifically beachy or anything like that, just a fun kit that has lots of spring/summer type elements. Plaid, stripe, polka dot, and floral printed papers! :) I'm sitting at there house right now and looking at their cushions and they just always bring a smile to my face because they're so cheerful! :) Anyway...so that's my idea...pick me! pick me!!! :)

I need a tie die kit with the traditional tie die colors of tourquoise, fuscia and yellow with a little violet, bright green & red. A peace symbol picture frame & some hippie chic elements would rock.

How's about Island Wedding for a theme?

The colors would be rich jungle greens, pink flowers and then beachy colors too--blues, sands, etc.? Elements could be typical wedding stuff, but with a carribean flair.

Hello all, I am a newbie. But I have become very addicted to these great chats and contests....Mostly because of my biggest addition SCRAPBOOKING!!! Digi and Traditional...Can't wait to get to know you all.

I was just browsing and saw this, and while I am not really sure what kind of kit I would like to see, but since I am fairly new to the Digi scene, I have been thinking of creating a kit myself, but I am not quite skilled enough yet, although I may still try it out, of course not tel after the Holidays.

The theme I was thinking of was Dragonflies, no surprise, see username. But I just love them, I would love the colors Blue, Purple, Pink, and maybe a nice Green and White. with Flowers.

Anyway, that is my input. Thanks for making me feel so welcome.

Hi! Newbie here. I'd love to see a kit that works with a trip to a theme park. Specifically, roller coasters, carousels, splashing rides, spinning "Teacups" and everything related to the fun and excitement of a theme park. Colors should range from rich primaries and vibrant blues to rugged neutrals in order to allow scrapping of the Disney parks, Sea World, Universal Studios, Six Flags, Knott's Berry Farm, Hershey Park, etc.

I just scrapped an album for my MIL for Christmas chronicling our trip through California's theme parks (and San Diego Zoo) and it was so hard to gather everything I needed so I ended up using a lot of plain backgrounds or polka dots and scouring the web for images to add (like movie posters for Universal, Snoopy for Knott's, Mickey and Minnie for Disney, etc.)

I realize that licensed characters are probably out of the question, but conceptual design should be okay, right?

OH yeah baby! I can relate to that. My dd is 17 & definitely has photos that are 'unique'. And the scorpions she wanted on her car are not the usual fare...

and Vicki would RAWK that kit!! Have you seen her That 70's Shoe kit?!! Check it out

And I LOVE DRAGONFLIES!! They aren't very common... there are more butterflies out there... But the irridescence of dragonfly wings is magical... Do you ladies realize that I have a category called 'insects' in ACDSee insects. It rates right up there with my buttons search! :)

Great idea! And this is so great hearing from all of you newcomers!! Come on over *waving my arm in big circles* to the chat section & join us. It's a great place to pull up a chair & enjoy your morning coffee. Our European friends open our board for us in the morning & then we check in.

This is so funny and I did not even think of this til I saw it, but my sister is 18 and she is in a grunge band, plays electric guitar and loves all that "wacky" stuff, and these would be great for the Graduation album I want to make for her this year.

Great Idea!!

Connie,
I am so glad to meet someone who appreciates these beautiful, magical creatures as much as I do. Hect, for my 30th birthday, we lived in Italy and I went and got my first and only tattoo, of course it is a gorgious dragonfly, in a place where only me and my dh can see it.
Anyway, well that was TMI, but I feel that you are all my friends here already.

Have a Merry Christams!!!

I love dragonflies too, and would love that kit!!

I would also like to see a serious kit of dragons. Not a cartoon kids kit, but the "real" dragons, both Chinese & European styles.

Rich gem colours, and watery blues and pearly whites would be my prefered colour papate.

i think the idea for a new year's eve kit would be great.
the colors i am thinking of came from my sweat pants - black with bright pink and light pink. maybe some soft overlays where the color is so soft you can't really tell if it is white or pink. some soft flowers. letters and numbers on chipboard with hot pink glitter. hand-written words in pink glitter - "party" "fun" "kisses"
and maybe call the kit "new year's kisses" (instead of new years wishes)
you could even use a muted green in with the pinks.
anyway, i love this thread and can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hmm...what do I want?
Well, first off, I would LOVE to see some bathtime kits - you know, rubber duckies and such. I have way too many bath time pics.... yellows would be great, and prob soft blues and pinks, or lime - you know, something besides the traditional reds and blues!
Also...something like a modern day kit? Not quite what DeeZee over there said (though I LOVE her idea!!!), but something like gameboy/laptop/iPod/electronics kinda thing (I probably have more pics of playing gameboy and fooling around with the iPod than I do of bath time!) You know, lots of jean and silver, and blacks and blues, for the gameboys and such...
All your stuff is awesome, no matter WHAT you'll do I'll be lovin' it!! :D

Hi there! Newbie here too... Surfing the forums, trying to get aquainted with everything here. So far all of these ideas seem realy good. I too love dragonflies and not the cartoony looking ones. I also would love a New Years kit - cuz this year that's one of my resolutions to actually scrap New Years! LOL. My niece's 4th Bday will be New Years Eve - she gets a sweet party during the day - then we adults party at night! A bday kit was also mentioned - I found a way cool freebie here yesterday with that theme, perfect for my niece. Let's see if I can link here... http://www.oscraps.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=382
Anyways, like I said all the kit ideas are great. As far as the kit - I am a little confused as to who is going to use the theme we request... But it really doesn't matter to me - everything in the store here is WAY cute!
As for me, I would request a wedding theme - but not beach or tropical. Traditional with lots of siver metal charms (cake, doves, flowers - anything) and colors - deep purple and dark green with white and any other deep colors. I won't be using any pastels I don't think... Haven't finalized my wedding plans, just in the early stages - but I know I'll need this kit eventually!
Thx for listening (gee, I ran on and on...) Tif :)

OK...this may not get picked because I will probably be in the minority, but I just gave my MIL a 12x12 album (empty except for the title page) and a promise to do an album with her pictures from her trip to NEPAL and BANGKOK. I need, need, need background papers for this lucious, rich album. Thanks, LEAH!!!!

Don't know if anyone is still reading this since the contest is over but..
I had a couple more cents worth to add about the dragon kit Vickie & Ronee might make.
1)A couple of plain "scaley" papers might be appreciated by customers with pet reptiles they'd like to scrap.
2) I would sure love something really cool that says "Let sleeping dragons lie" We all know someone who wakes up like a dragon don't we?

3) I hope hope hope (read beg here) you include a really cool alpha

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

My belief is that dragons are the guardians of the earth's riches, gems, gold and knowledge. They are gentle creatures, even kind, unless provoked by people who would take advantage of those riches.

I am really looking for a kit that reflects the magic and goodness of the classic dragons, not the mean, firebreathing creatures of modern cartoons.
