Good morning,
I will do the honor this morning.

Good afternoon Jane & our European friends!

weather forecast says 3" of snow. Yesterday there was white stuff on the ground up North when I went to my parents. They are 100 miles north of me near the Canadian border. It's been 50 degrees so we are spoiled. Time for reality now.

I FOUND my 1 gig flash drive. Yesterday I didn't have it in my bag & was in a panic. I was teaching my mom how to use her digital camera & we took photos of my 2 yr old neice. OMG what a ham! lol I will scrap them! Anyway I called home to ask my 17 yr old if she'd look for it - and she asked 'where did you leave it last'... uh huh wonder where she's heard that? BUT I found it in a skirt pocket that I wore last week. Glad it didn't take a spin thru the washing machine!

Ok - busy week upcoming - it's back to one day at a time...I'll keep you posted. As my sister says - Breathe, Connie

goood moooooorning!

Connie~ Don't you love it when your words come back to you....

For today, I'm writing some emails I've been dreading and some emails I've been looking forward to. Cleaning house a bit, decorating the tree some more (apparently we are doing it in stages - more like spits and furts). Talking with ACDSee. Organizing some more with ACDSee. Calling the hospital to make payment arrangements for our 2 ER visits in October - blech! Sending out the downloads to everyone who participated in the Give Thanks challenge. Drawing 2 winners for the "special prize" for the Give Thanks challenge... and it seems like something else too but it escapes me at the moment...

Morning Ladies!

Connie I'm so glad you found your drive. That's an awful feeling. I can't stand when I sound like my mother or when my kids sound like me hee hee

Vicki good luck getting your stuff done. You've been a busy chick.

I need to get my house under control, finally make a plan for knocking out the "decking of the halls" so to speak. I'd like to work on Christmas gifts. I have a couple errands I need to run, and I'm not thinking much beyond that. We'll see what I really get done LOL

Have a great one :)

Good morning ladies!
Looking at the weather channel....looks like some of us might be getting some nasty weather this week! I sure hope that we get snow and not just the rain, sleet and ice. I look so forward to the first snow fall. We've not even had a flurry here yet. Usually by now, we've had something!
Sounds like everyone is busy busy busy on this Monday morning. I have a million things that need to be done. My list is growing longer and longer. This next month is going to be nuts with all the preparations for Christmas. Love it though!!!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Vicki dear...breathe! You are so busy, holler if you need any help! We'd love to help you out if possible!!
Connie- ....breathe! I still don't know when you sleep. You are always going ninety miles an hour! Have a good day hon!
Krista, Keely and Nina - hope you all have a great day and get everything done you need to do!
Will check back much later in the day. Have lots to do!

Good morning ladies!! I can't believe it's Monday again all ready ... quite sad actually how quickly time flies when one is having fun!! :)

Yesterday was a pretty uneventful day ... we took the girls out for breakfast (to my mom's diner), Peter and the girls did some yardwork - have I told you lately how much I adore my husband?? Even though in doing that yardwork he managed to lose his wedding ring :( Which we have searched and searched and searched for with no avail .. so ummm yeah. But I still love him to pieces. :) While they were doing the yardwork I sat inside on my butt scrappin' ;) I'm almost finished with the CD Calendar that I am working on for my girlfriend to give out as gifts. :) Then maybe I can get started on mine. LOL!! Peter and I went shopping for more Christmas lights to replace the ones that weren't working. Bought some other decorations tooo .... including a big frosty for the front door. I LOVE HIM!! :) More scrappin' and little bloggin'. Supper ... oh my was it yummmmmy ... more scrapin ' and a little more bloggin' :)

Today is a dance dance dance day!! I really have to get my FOCUS on and start working on the final preparations of the Holiday Performance at the studio. Danielle's RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Grade One Exam is this morning .... then we have a lunch date to have a major life altering chat ... not looking forward to this point of my day. I will give details later.

Then hopefullly I will get back here to check and see if there is any NEWS!! Then off to the studio tonight ... Lacey's dance night!! Whew I'm tired thinking about it all!!

We normally do too ... and it's almost depressing that the kids were outside yesterday without jackets and Mya was in the playpen out on the front lawn!! I AM LONGING for snow!! :)

Mooorning, girlies...

A quick hello to all, as I've got to get these kids going!! It is so hard to focus after a week's vacation...and I think it's hardest for me, the teacher!! Yike.

BTW, Connie, I'm sending my 9yo son up to you, because he keeps praying for snow!! He even mentioned your great state this morning. "Minnesota gets their prayers answered," he says. "They have snow..." I'm thinking, "My family lived in Minn. for over 10 years (where I was born...), and my mom still can't get warm!!!"

Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and can get focused (this is for me!!!) on what needs to happen now!!

Be good, girls...(heh heh)

Hi,
I like getting back to normal routine. By yesterday my kids were fighting so much with each other I just went hid on my computer and left my dh to deal with it. Probably not the best way to deal with the problem but it worked. Now, one is in school and the other one has no one to fight with. Sometimes sending the dh back to work and kids off to school and get back to a routine is good.

I have determined Connie needs a lot less sleep than others. I usually say goodnight to her and go to bed before her and she will always be on the boards or sending me email way before I am getting out of bed. I am not one of those morning people.

I need to finish those calendar presents for my parents and in-laws today. When Connie was visiting parents, I got the last bunch of photos I needed for it.

Have a good day everyone!
And breathe! Stop whatever you are doing for a few minutes and take some deep breaths is really good for you. More oxygen to the brain so you can think better!

Hey, all! Just wanted to say that this is a pretty darn cool feature. I've been reading, and now I'm gonna stop lurking and join in the fun...

Yeah, reality check on the weather! We're a little south of you, Connie, in Iowa, but we're gonna get hit later this week. Wish we could have eased back into winter, but SLAM! it's gonna get cold pretty quickly. I do love snow, though. Just wish you could have snow and highs in the 70's at the same time...

Sally, we lived in north TX for several years, and I SOOOOO miss it come November! I need some sunshine when the days start getting dreary. Can you mail some to us Yankees??????

It *was* nice to have balmy weather so late in November to go tree hunting on Saturday, though. We have a fresh 7-footer in the living room filling the house with pine, all decked out in lights and trinkets. Gotta love this time of year.

For now, gonna fix lunch for the little ones. Big sister's at school, just picked up little brother from preschool, and baby brother is eating his sock. Trying to clue me in, ya think?

Have a great day, everyone!!!!!!!!!

I dont know where the day has gone!!!

I had to go shopping today, the schools are closed so Sarah had no nursery, so decided to get out of the house and venture into the city to tire them out!

Its my brothers 30th tomorrow, and he is sooooo fusy!! Bought him a pair of Teddy Smith Jeans and a top! As long as it has a desinger label I should be ok!!

I have had a moment to play with ACDsee, and honestly, although it seems complicated and the same time it seems easier than PSP, just need to get my head around change!

Weather has been remarkably good today, 11C (No idea what that is in F!) It is well above freezing!!

Time to get the kids bathed and bed! WOOT PEACE!!

I can't believe what time it is! 2: 35 est. Normally Jane and I are the first ones in this thread. Where is Jane? Is everythig ok?
I got my trial of ACDSee, and agter getting some housework, food sooping and faery-wings making stuff, I gave myself and hour to play with it.
One the one hand, it is so cool, on the other, it is so overwhelming! I had no idea I had so much scrap stuff!

Hi to nennikers and danielle! Glad you are part of our *O*utstanding group here. (yep, I am a cornball!)

Heidi -- between you and Connie, you RAWK!! Your tuts have been so helpful. Good to see you posting here. Bet it is noce to have connie off you back too. (who said that!? 8)

Connie- glad you found your disk/card/whatever. Stay out of trouble at work!

Vicki, (((hugs)) hon, There will be some bummed people, but just think of how many people want to help out here-- The *O* is really moving up inthe scrap world, and you should be very proud.

Krista, lots of luck with your dd dance test, and enhjoy your lunch.

Keely, I want to get decorating but the hosue needs a huge scrubbing first. And I don't wanna do that!

Nina, plllleeease don't scare me and say 4 weeks til Xmas.... aaaahh!
However, I must say, I love shopping at Amazon, much easier than dealing with NJ malls and traffic.

Sally-- your son sounds too cute. My kids will wear their pj's backwards when they want to have a snow day. One day last year, even I wanted them to have a snow day and I put my pj's on wrong. The kids thought I was pretty funny.

Enjoy the rest of your days ladies!

Weather here has been weird, up in the 60's today. But I am not going to complain. I *hate* the cold. Everyone is getting their Xmas lights up since it is so nice. But alas not me! LOL

Carla, be careful if it gets icy.

I'm here ***waves***

I've had a bit of a day and so I took myself off to a corner and kept quiet :D You've all been busy today, I need to go and lie down to recover from reading all your activities

It's been a bit wild, wet and windy here today and I was out in some of it! Since then I've sat near the radiator keeping nice and warm and reading a book :D

Now it's TV time and then bed - I need some sleep! I swear I was awake most of the night having weird half-dreams and fighting people!!

Take care and see you tomorrow :D

GOOD AFTERNOON ladies!!

I just had the BEST time reading everyone's posts!! You ladies are rawking this house!! It's fabulous!! Makes me smile too.

Heidi - I'm having a hard time breathing with this cough - my girls said go to the dr - so I may have to by Wed. if it hangs on. And Heidi isn't used to this new sister of hers that can stay up later (I used to be in bed by 10 pm)... I've always been a morning person though.

Jane - I'm glad that you got a break today - hope things are going well for you.

Vicki - you ARE the best!! What an awesome home you provide for us here

Kristaaaaaaaaa - Heidi & I grew up just 10 miles South of Manitoba so we speak Canadian fluently. Hadn't you noticed? You're in Ontario & probably a ways from us.... but ya never know ... How far are you from Int'l Falls, MN? or Duluth?

Sally - I can send you a truckload of snow for your son. Not a problem.

WELCOME Jen & danielle !!. We're glad you joined us!

Cat - hang in there - did you find the video?

Hello Carla - I'm sitting here all relaxed now. And I drive an hour every day for work... so I relax then too.

Hey Jen- what part of Iowa? Any chance from the NW? My best friend just moved down to the way SW of MN.

Anyway - I'm awaiting a phone call...... so I'll look around here some more... toodle oo

Hey, Connie, just a quick reply...

I'm in central Iowa now, but I grew up in Sioux City. That's about 60 miles from the MN border...
