A quick pass by - I'm making a dish to pass at lunch. We're having a potluck with all of my staff (from all 7 sites - so it's a party! I mean a staff mtg).

I didn't post yesterday - very sorry. Life is busy. I'll be around more later this week.

:) Have a good Tuesday

And weather report - yesterday morning - it was -11 when I put on gas - oh babbbbyyy it was cold! Another cold one today, but it's supposed to warm up ... not to 80 probably though

This afternoon, its playday with Sarah's friend, and my BF :) and also practicing songs for Sarah's Nursery Play.

Now I am going to sit down and have a cup of coffee and a teacake whilst Jamie is napping :D

Mooooorning y'all!

Yes, I broke the forums again yesterday. UGH! I'm thinking the staying logged in to the gallery issue is going to have to wait until the site redesign at the beginning of the year. Sorry y'all! I've posted how to delete cookies (the fix for not being able to login to the forums on the blog - www.oscraps.com/news.php if you know anyone who is having problems.

Today, I'm going to work on the xcart installation and see where that takes me. If that all goes smoothly, I'm going to try to get some crafting done and do Carla's challenge posted in the announcements section (http://www.oscraps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=730)

Cat~ I need to do laundry today too, but as it's more of a hill than a mountain, it may wait til tomorrow!

Connie~ have a great party, I mean mtg...

Hello everyone :)

Connie, hope you enjoy your meeting :)

Cat, congrats on the ironning ! you deserve a nice rest now :)

Vicky, good luck with all the tech stuff ;) (I love tech stuff  but that could be because I'm originally a software engineer :P )

Sooooo, I'm having an awfully busy week .... lots of meetings, minutes to write an dcision making ... this is very tiring, and morover it doesn"t leave me much time to come and chat over here .... :?
tomorrow I have to wake up at 5 AM to cath the 6:15 flight to amsterdam. I have a two days meeting there ...
I remember I used to be lazy  I still am, but I have to go against my natural instincts :D

Edit : By the way vicky, the link you put just above for the blog lacks the ".php" at the end (doesn't work for me without it)

mornin'! :)

something i haven't mentioned until now.... jeremy (my live-in bf)'s dad is a home builder, and he is moving into our area! sooo... we've been eyeing this new subdivision, which has been under development. we have been talking to jeremy's dad about purchasing a lot in that subdivision for us, and building a house designed by us, and selling it to us "at cost." he has soooo generously agreed to do it! and yesterday, he bought 5 lots in the subdivision - one of which is mine and jeremy's first choice!! yipeee!!!!

we're getting an incredible house, in an amazing subdivision, on a gorgeous lot - AT COST! woa!!! ;)

ladies - good luck with your busy schedules today! :) i'll check back in soon!

Good morning

So Vicki that was you yesterday causing issues with the boards. I tried to login and couldn't. Assumed it was me typing my password, tried a few times, got locked out, waited 30 minutes, got a new password, and still couldn't login. I asked Connie if she could get it in and she said yes. So at that point, I knew it was me. I figured out to go delete my cookie and then all was well. I assumed that my own computer did something but I am glad to hear it was you since my computer is only a week old. Anyway, I am in and happy.

So we have another "originally a software engineer." I am too. Although it's been a few years since working in the industry. I love how this digital scrapbooking and computers go together! Glad that I am not the only tech loving person on the board. DH asked me a few weeks ago, want a diamond ring or laptop for Christmas. I just got a new laptop so you can guess my answer.

Cat, can you come over an iron for me and I will start organizing your scrapbooking kits?

Connie, have a goodluck potluck! Don't feel bad everyone, she barely talked to me either on hello. She has too many new toys to play with.

Good morning everyone! I'm on day 2 of the "12 days of moving" I started packing back in Oct because we thought we were going to be out by Nov. but we're still here and still in boxes and I think I'm gonna go nuts. Now it's time for the official crunch!

I also spent the day yesterday printing pages... I went through 2 color cartridges yesterday, and I'm hoping that 1 more will finish off the job. I finally decided just to stick with 8x8. That's what I originally did, but then I saw a 12x12 album and I really like the bigger size, but 8x8 is just a little more practical.

Connie-enjoy your "meeting"
I hope you savored ever second of nap time Cat
Vicki-don't worry, we still love you even though you broke the forum
Dumpty-enjoy Amsterdam (one of my favorite places actually)
Danielle-congrats on the house. that's so exciting!
Heidi-I got a new computer for my birthday, but I'm afraid a diamond ring wasn't an option. Still would have gone with the computer though

I'm a bit of a nerd too, but I haven't studdied any nerdy things. I just figured myself out a little bit ago LOL. My dad's a programer so we were joking last week that he really should've pushed me to follow in his shoes. I was an el ed major, music major, pottery major, economics major, liberal arts major... still need 3 more classes to graduate but I couldn't make myself do it because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my self after school LOL.

morning girlies...

sorry I've been MIA too. Things just get in the way of our O-time...I tried to explain to my kids that OScraps was way more important than their school work, but when they agreed with me, I knew I was in trouble!!! (she says, trying to foster an environment of love of learning HA!)

I certainly am inspired by all of the fun happenings around here. I just downloaded Carla's cool $2 Christmas kit (gorgeous!!) and Vicki's Raspberry Cocoa kit (My fave colors, Vicki..how did you know????) and I'm ready to get to work. Now if my kids could finish their work without me riding them like crazy!!! (Do you hear a theme here????)

Have a great day everyone~~

Mooorning, girls! Sounds like everyone's busy busy today!

Go, Cat with the ironing! That is my LEAST favorite thing to do. Luckily, I am such a poor ironer that DH decided it wasn't worth it to have me do it, so now he irons all his own shirts. LOL

Vicki--YAY X-CART! That's gonna rock! I have started web designing a little, but am not very good at it yet... But you know I'm always willing to help wherever I can! :)

Danielle--SCORE on the house! Lucky you! DH is a realtor, and we're STILL trying to get into our first house! The market is NOT fun right now. lol

Sally, sounds like you've got lots of fun goodies to play with! Can't wait to see your LOs! :)

I need to get some actual scrapping done myself, but I'm very busy trying to get TWO new kits finished and up for sale this Friday! We'll see. Meanwhile, I have a teething almost-1-year-old who has been pretty miserable lately. She was up every three hours last night, and she hasn't done that in a couple months! Eep. I'm a little sleepy this morning! So, back to work I go. Hope everyone has a good day! Talk to you later! :)

WOW ! looks like I've been missing on lots of fun... My first Daily-ooooo !
I'm at work and not in the mood to work. I'm off to finish a few things and will try to leave early. Hopefully can play around with my computer this afternoon.
It's a beautiful and sunny day here in Haiti and I am realizing that I have not started my Christmas shopping yet and still not panicking... The worse thing is that I have not any ideas. You'll probably hear me when the panick hits. back to work !

Ok I'm not even going to try to reply to everyone ... cause ... yeah my head is spinning again! :)

So ... it's sunny .... snowy ... and cold!! LOVE IT!!

I just downloaded Carla's newest creation ... and I am determined to scrap today. I think I had a mental health day yesterday because I scrapped NOTHING. I would open PSP and kind of cringe and then close it again ... I did that about 5 times and finally just gave up and went to bed!! :)

Still feeling about the same today ... I have alot of stuff to do ... don't know where to start so I'm just anxious in general ... time of year.

Anyone know if Jane is ok?? Haven't seen her in a couple of days ..miss her!! :(

CheeryO ladies!! **smooches**

It's great to learn everybody's backgrounds. I deal w/database design and IT liaison stuff all day so hopefully the X-cart thing will be a fun thing to learn.

Ironing - I just bought an ironing board after probably 4 years of not having one haha (great excuse not to iron). It's the kind that attaches to the door and flips up. Not ironing was never really a problem actually - just cultivate the rumpled boho look and never buy 100% cotton broadcloth shirts. Gotta love that polyester.

House - wow, having your BF's dad as a contractor sounds so awesome. What a deal.

Amsterdam...sounds like such a fun place to visit. You Europeans are so lucky!

Computer vs. diamond ring - yeah, that's a no brainer. If I ever get married, my dh can bag the candy and flowers and diamonds schtick in favor of tech toys and the occasional gift card!

Hi ladies!
We had a great potluck here at work & now I'm wondering where my pillow is. I threw together my cranberry meatballs this morning & now staff want the recipe (so all's well). The mtg went well too - we planned next year's meeting dates & topics with deadlines. (how's that for being organized? It puts the responsibility down to their level because their aware now in advance - -- so it was a very productive mtg).

Yes Heidi - the toys were big last night - we put together the new dining room table... I couldn't lift the box the tabletop was in - so we took dd's old sled & put the box on it & dragged it to the house. (I knew that snow was good for something!)

I do wonder how Jane is - I miss her too!

Vicki - good luck with your project - sounds like you have some tech help in house here.

Welcome to the people joining the daily O's! May you find it relaxing to check in periodically.

Good luck with the mountain of clothes ladies. (That's my system by the way! and skip the ironing)

Did you see Khristy's newest kit? It's on sale thru today I think - it's very cute!!

How funny! I was just having this converstation last night with my dh. He wants to get me a nice set of diamond earrings, and I am trying to tell him that all I want is a better camera. hehe. SERIOUSLY! Im a nerd too!

Good luck with all your to dos today.

Congrats Danielle! We just sent in our 60 day notice of vacating our apartment and are still trying to find a house. EEK!! We are more stressed by that then Christmas this year. Thats awesome for you guys!

We rented Pirates of the Caribbean this morning, so ds will be watching it all day. He has only been talking about it everyday since we saw it in the theater in JULY!!!

I had a heck of a time getting back into this forum Vicki, but I forgive ya! :D

Off to scrap Carlas tradtions challenge!

So I finally introduced myself and was so excited to become part of the daily o's and then our internet died. Ugh... I thought DSL was supposed to be a good thing... I guess it's just that there's like 30,000+ people living in our complex and everyone wants on at the same time. Grr..

Anyway...

I'm here!

Incredible news on the house Danielle! That's amazing!

Sweet Genevieve--how many kits do you do a month? You and Vicki are my idols... always putting out amazing kits. Hopefully someday I'll be there with you! :D

Off to put my dd down for a nap
