And I thought I was going to be able to post first... :wink:
We're half-way through our day but it's been a blast so far. Isabella had her Little Gym class and she was a fabulous listener and participant. I was so impressed by her parachute skills and giggles. Okay.. I know sappy mom. Then we picked up some Christmas gifts and met DH for ice cream. It's an incredibly gorgeous day here in HK... warm and very sunny.
Our plans for the evening include.. making Christmas cookies! Yeah I"m so excited. We didn't have an oven last year so it's a nice treat to be able to do this. We also found a gingerbread house at IKEA to decorate so lots of fun in the Rose household this evening.
So if I remember correctly... Wed is Wishes and Wants:
so my wishes/wants are:
1. to decide on a gift for DH (we really limited ourselves but I know he used some of his birthday money to buy me a more expensive gift so I'm debating on what to get him... should i stick to the budget and pretend I have NO idea what he got me or surprise him)
2. to finish my latest kit
3. finish my christmas letter (late yet again)

I am posting to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, in case I don't get the opportunity in the next couple weeks. We're leaving for Michigan (where all my family, and most of DH's family are) until after the holidays. I'll try to pop in once in a while, but not sure how much time my family will let me have on the computer! ;) I am SO excited to be going home for the holidays, though! Especially because my little sister, who is studying in Germany this year, will be home too! And it will be fun to see Mia and her cousin Kali (who is just 3 months younger) play together, now that they're both getting old enough to interact with other babies. Anyways...yeah, I'm very excited! :)
My Wednesday wants & wishes:
-I wish our 17-hour drive was over with already!
-I wish we could skip the 17-hour drive and magically teleport to Michigan.
-I want our trip to go smoothly...

Genevieve---Have a WONDERFUL trip, a fun time with your family, and a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! We used to live in MN and travel to PA for Christmas... I was so excited that our travel plans included flights but now... it's a 17+hr flight rather than in a car. I think I'd take a car any day. LOL We'll miss you while you're gone!

Good Morning Everyone.
I am glad that I am not the only that wants the holiday traveling to be done with before it even starts. We travel 5 hours north in MN. Hopefully the forecasted snow will be done by the time we leave.

1. Finish those calls that I am procrastinating on.
2. Pull out my paper scrapbooking supplies, blow off the dust, and scrap 3 layouts with my family pictures. I wonder if I know how to do it anymore. The parents have frames and each year they swap out my family portraits done on a 12 x 12 layout and put in the latest.
3. Finish the cookie mixes for christmas presents for teachers & friends.

Connie - Too funny about the camera. When I ordered mine, I didn't realize that it didn't come with a memory card. I had to run out to the mall and buy one for twice as much as I could have found it online, but I couldn't wait!

But ..... Good news here for me.... The woman I was cleaning for tomorrow cancelled. So even though I could have used the $$ i am much happier being home, finished up most of my holiday prep. And I got a bonus from the woman I cleaned for today, So it works out pretty good.

I know I'm late, but I'm finally back. Half of the house is still in boxes, but I finally decided to get my office put together, and my computer is back home. :D I am starting to get really stressed about Christmas though, I can't believe I only have a couple of days left! I've got to get my layouts to the printers!!!!!

I'm worse off than I thought. I keep thinking today is Friday, but it's just Wednesday. we're getting ready for our busy weekend! We have a double b-day party tomorrow and are so not ready. It should be cute as we're going with a Frosty and Rudolph theme.
Tonight, DS goes for his first Taekwondo test. I'm so nervous for him, but he seems to have a great attitude. Wish him lucK!
