I din't know if I'm allowed to start this thread (seeing as how I'm just a lowly digiscrapper...*sigh* LOL - just kidding!!!), but here goes!

I'm off to my dds' swimming lessons later this morning and my 4yo actually gets to swim today!!! Yea! (after a 4 day fever~she's been without fever for two days now...)

Did you guys see Ronee's new Ad Challenge (http://www.oscraps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=785)??? So cool!!

Anyone baking this season????

(BTW, check out what the designers are baking in the shoppe!! I heard Maggie was having a SALE!! WOOEEE...you go, girl!)

Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone!!

Morning, Sally! Where is everyone this morning? Usually there are at least five posts when I finally get by to post! lol Anyways, happy Tuesday everyone!

Baking--I would LOVE to, but I'm not sure if I'll have time... We have our church Christmas party this Saturday and I'd love to be able to take some sugar cookies. We shall see!

In the mean time, speaking of new stuff in the store, I just put up my very first set of templates last night! I'll post it in the announcement forum shortly if you want to check them out! :)

So, on with my Tuesday. Mia's got a cold again, and she's all of a sudden going through this clingy mommy phase (where I can't even leave the room or she throws a fit). Anyways, she's down for a nap now, so I better get to work and see how much I can get done before she wakes up again! :)

Laters!

Morning ladies! It's good to mix it up a bit. (ie - tag you're it! :) )

I'm home again today too. My eye is getting better - but it's still patched. Trying to heal it up. Man! usually I only miss one day of work for an affliction - but this was nasty. My pirate act is getting better though!

I should do some baking too.. maybe later today. Heidi said her Christmas cards arrived. Mine are enroute. We've been doing some shopping... so we're in fairly good shape!

Have a happy Tuesday everyone,
Connie

Hello? I'm usually way down on the list by the time I get up.

Enjoy the swimming lessons Sally, and if you've got any questions about them, I do consider myslef quite passionate about swimming LOL

I just made some break and bake sugar cookies last night, I don't really consider that baking, but when the rolling pin is packed you can't really do anything else! If you frost and decorate them, they still have the personal touch

I'll have to go check out your templates Genevieve, I'm soooo stuck on a layout right now.

Glad your eye's doing better Connie (Captain Jack) and you've got a sense of humor about the patch. I expect to see a layout about it!

I plan on (drum roll) packing today. Time for the kitchen. Hey does anyone have any suggestions on how to dry out a camera, dropped it in the snow yesterday and my pictures are a bit on the foggy side. (just isn't my week with technology is it)

I am here, and baking is the last thing on my mind. I have been unwell since Saturday, the traditional Christmas flu!! I get it at the same time every year, in a way, I should be thankful as last year I had it on Christmas day!!!

I seriously just want to sleep, but, with 2 toddlers to keep occupied, or in other words, they occupy me!! So its just a case of getting on with it. I havent scrapped in days but I just saw Ronee's ad challenge so that might just get me in the mood!

Oh, I hear someone shouting snack time! Must go before they eat each other!

Can anyone explain to me why it is that DH, Mum and I can install regular Windows updates and everything carries on working, but my Dad's computer throws a fit and now Java won't work and he can't play Pogo games!

I have spent the best part of an hour in MSN's Remote Assistance trying to get it to work and I'm stumped. I've had to call in BACK - Badger's Assistance in Computer Knowhow - otherwise known as DH and he'll have to try and sort it out...

My powered chair was losing its power again when we were out on Saturday, despite its new batteries: it grumbled up the ramps into the taxi, and in town it positively kangaroo-jumped in protest going up the hills. The WRM - Wheelchair Repair Man - is coming tomorrow and by a stroke of good fortune I have the same joystick controller as he has spare in the van! New controller, motors cleaned out and I should be good as new :D

The kitchen sink tap is loose. It is a fancy little thing that has one arm and swivels around for ease of use... except it's now swivelling too much and DH can't find his pliers to tighten it....

I think I am about ready to admit defeat: I'd throw in the towel, if I could throw decently enough to make it more than a laughable gesture

I am usually on here earlier too, but I got sidetracked by Gens new templates. :D So I was a scrappin this mornin! Caleb didnt feel a thing when the stitches came out and all is back to normal. We did view a house yesterday that was so beautiful, RIGHT on the river, VERY affordable, and the last thing he tells us is that we don't have ownership rights to the pier. So, people can walk down the propertly line and use the "public" pier. AGGGGHHHHH!!!! I can just imagine teenagers or families getting together down there and drinking and partying all night. Not what I want to be around. Nor my children. So, back to hunting again.

Hope all is wonderful with everyone.

Erin-good luck with your camera! It doesnt seem to be your month.

Hope your eye feels better soon Connie! Although my son would totally dig the pirate act!! LOL

Still sick! My sympathies to all of you who are sick or have sick kids. Not the greatest time to be under the weather.

Baking - nope. My fancy teflon cooling grids go in the bunnies litter boxes. Trying not to gain weight this season or I will fuss and fume :(

House - that's a bummer about the pier. Who wants loud partiers and rowdy teens.

Must be something going around. I slept all day! And I do mean all day!!! I got up for a couple of hours this morning, went back to bed and woke up at 3:07 p.m.. It's 5 p.m. and I feel drained again! Will be calling it a early day! LOL!!!
Hope everyone has a good rest of the day!

Greetings from the future! It's Wednesday the 13th. LOL It's raining here today so what a nice surprise to wake up to. I LOVE listening to the sound of dripping rain.

We've started doing a bit of baking here. Have a cookie exchange this weekend and DH made Kahlua cookie balls. Mighty tasty. I need to make fudge in the next day or two too.

Not much else going on. I think I will finish sewing my curtains today and my son's pjs.
