You go away for Thanksgiving and take your external hard drive. Figured it would be the perfect chance to organize pictures without the temptation of scrapping them!

when you go on vacation and take more pictures of textures and cool architecture than you do of the actual vacation - that's my designing obsession lol.

Looking at everything and wondering how it would tranlate into PS.
Also the frustration I feel when I apaper scrap and the paper isn't the right color, the photo needs to be enlarges, I can't resize the stickers....

when the last thing before you go to bed at night and the first thing that you do in the morning (well, after I get breakfast ready for Nate) is get on the computer to scrap and/or check out your favorite sites. :)

When you actually work out techniques for achieving something digitially in those times you're awake in the night... and you get up next morning and try them straight away... and they work!!!

hmm
I know that I'm obsessed (and been at DST a few too many times) because:
1) I pass thru just before shutting down my laptop & the first post is a page for me ('' bensenc are you here")
2) more recently - people saying ... 'well I'm not Connie, but ... I think' or 'Connie.... what do you think?"
3) a designer from here pops into hello here at work & asks me a question for DST, and then posted for me there.. 'Connie says.....(do it this way)'. (THANK YOU Gen for the help!)
4) and then a couple of nights ago it struck me when I was on Hello - and a really good friend of mine pops into hello (she's NEVER on hello) and says - they're talking about you on the board. I'm like - oh mannn - so I open DST & there it is.............. ISO Connie (not ISO a kit with camoflouge paper.....lolol) apparently I am searchable! maybe from too much time in the library? hahaha librarian pun
(someone needed assistance with buying a laptop - you know, let's ask Connie! So I referred her to sister Heidi! And together they worked it out. Thanks Heidi!)
I am SO THANKFUL to have such good help!
Maybe Shannon should install a little 'ring Connie bell' in the help section over there?
On the serious side - I love helping people out! and it is VERY gratifying to be the resident techno-librarian.

You know your obsessed when ............ you are counting down the minutes to the end of a CT call ... and then waiting like a FOOL for the announcement to be made ... on the same day!! :)

When I applied for the PDW cheerleader gig - I bookmarked the blog address where the app's were sitting (they were public) -- and I checked back most every day.... can we say obsessed - uh huh! And then I was just SO excited when I rec'd that email........ omg!! It's the little things that count, huh? That call lasted 3 weeks or so too. It was a killer as I recall.
