T'is Wednesday already, and isn't the week flying by? My DH isn't coming home for tea tonight, he's staying the other side of town with is mother so he can make it to the chess match he's in later this evening. Altogether that leaves me with over 16 hours by myself - well, not completely by myself if I'm honest: the cleaning lady is here now and my Mum is calling in to check on me later.
I had a letter from Tesco (our grocery place that also does online ordering) giving me a countdown to Christmas, and it's only 7 weeks! How did that happen? I was meaning to be organised!
Maggie, I could write a tut on PSP batch processing, but it would be a while before it was ready. What do you think girls, shall I try my hand at a tut?? In fact, let's have a poll, because I've not done one of those before...
Anna, my DH is battling the same problem every day with some of the people he works for over in Liverpool - they don't seem to have much of a work ethic over there and swan in and out when it pleases them!
I still want to go and join Vicki where it's warm and sunny! It's raining and miserable here today and I'm feeling sorry for myself, so there!
Ronee, you made me laugh this moo-rning, all that talk of the third person  I hope you get some sleep soon!
Today I am determined to finish something, anything!! I'm off to get started on my finishing right now! :D

Jane, I voted that you are moooo-valous! I don't use PSP so I didn't feel that I could vote for that. But IMHO, go for it, I bet you would be great.
Please tell me you are kidding about the 7 weeks til Christmas.... it hurts my brain to even think it right now.
And I haven't forgotten about my hair... I took a pic yesterday and hope to upload it sometime today. I am off cleaning houses again today so I'll be away from the compouter (way too long). Sometimes it kills me. I have degrees in Elem. Ed and Psychology. I was a PreK teacher for a long time. And here I am -- cleaning houses.... and for better pay thanI ever got teaching. What is wrong with that picture? :?
Some additionals from yesterday:
Vicki, Ii haaaaaaaaatttteeeeee you! i would kill (not quite literally) for a vaca. Soak it up and have a drink for me, K?
Ronee, isn't that faery gorgeous? But no, not by me. It is by the fabulous Jessica Galbreath. Between her art and that I Amy Brown, I could decorate my house, car, body (tattoos!) with their stuff.
Go Jane go! If I see on BBC news about a woman speeding along in her new *boosted* chair, I'll know it is you :D
Gen, feel better- sending you cyber chicken soup and tea.
Anna, vent away. It is no good for you to hold it all in.
cello girl, I bet that was the best way to start your day, nice and relaxed, rather than rushing around.

good morning,
My WOW for the day is that it's 7 am & I'm sitting here dressed, ready to go. Why? you ask?? Well, the nursing home called this morning at FIVE am to see if dd would work at 4 pm. We'd let them talk to her if they called at 6:30 am & let us sleep in - but as it was, sorry, not waking the child. (They're really short & asking kids to skip school to work - not agoing to happen with my dtr - aren't there laws against that? and isn't that truant?)
So - tonite I have a Library Board mtg. Last month's agenda was a lawn mower that blew up & problems with toilet paper in the men's bathroom - we don't have anything so exciting for tonite. Hope I don't disappoint them! But then I'll get home earlier! It seems that my newsletter mailing had no problems with addresses (I worried for nothing - silly me - but after the fiasco last year....)
Jane - Congrats on your new batteries! And I hope that you're feeling better. I can't believe that Christmas is so soon either. I order most of my stuff online, which helps.
Chris - Your fairy is gorgeous! I had noticed it too. It sounds like you have a good work ethic - and no matter what you're doing - you'll do a good job!
Gen - take it easy so you don't get a relapse. I've heard that can be tough.
Anna - I could use your help today - my finance report is all wonky & I am SO not an accountant. I am given a certain amt each year - and we put a new roof on $68,000 which the City is paying for from another fund - but it is charged to my acct til they balance the books at the end of the year & work their magic. So it appears as if I've WAY over spent myself. It makes me nervous - and it's hard to pretend it's all ok (I wouldn't make a very good politician!)
Vicki - did you check out the LA library? or just enjoy the ambience outside? Glad that you're on vacation. It reminds me that I need to start shopping for tickets & fill out the paperwork for my passport.

So you'll never believe, hubby got home a couple hours early last night, so I got to head to bed a little bit earlier then I have been. I'm sleeping nice and peaceful, and he comes to bed around four and gets the hiccups!!! OMG, the whole bed was shaking. At first I laughed, but I'm a little grumpy when I've been sleeping lol, so I sat up and looked at him, and he says "Oh, am I keeping you up?" Um yeah! lol, so I said I would go sleep in the guest room, and he said no and said he'd come back after the hiccups were gone, lol, I don't know when he got back.
I think a nap is in order today. I'm tellin' ya, I love my sleep, and I'm no fun when I don't get it, lol. One day when I'm rich I'll have someone to feed me and put me to bed, lol, I'm gonna hire a mother!
Jane- I voted that you are simply moo-velous, because you are! I think you could totally write an awesome tutorial, but I don't have psp (but for the record I would still have voted the same if I did, ;) )
ROFLMAO!! Jane on the BBC! I'm imagining a big red button and giant rocket boosters on the back of your chair Jane!
Connie- Yeah, that's against the law. I would tell them that. And, my phone doesn't get answered at 5:00 am, lol.

Yup, I voted Mooo-velous, too--no PSP for me, cuz I'm a PS girl. But I still think you should write a scripts tut, because I bet PSP-users would love it! :)
Ronee, I hope you got some sleep last night! Today I'm the one low on sleep. Last night Mia woke up at midnight and wanted to play. I left her in her crib, but I could hear her across the apartment making her playful squealing noises(which weren't as cute at midnight as they are during the day). She eventually went back to sleep, but woke up at 5:30am and was up until I put her down for her morning nap at 9:30. She just isn't getting the whole time-change thing and it's making me nuts!
And with Connie's mention of the LA Library, I thought of another really awesome place in LA: the Getty Art Museum. Awesome and FREE! :) But, why are you in LA again, Vicki? I don't think I ever caught that. ;)
Anyways, hope everyone has a MOOO-VELOUS day! :)

Jane, had to vote that you are tooooo Moooovelous, too!! (I also don't use PSP and I don't have a clue about batches - except cookies!!!)
Hope everyone is having a great day today!!
I actually got out of bed this morning at 7:30!! Wooeee! Yesterday was horrible...i played so much on my computer I got a headache, and then, when I went to vote, I had to stand in line for 45 minutes because I waited sooo long to go. I could have easily have gone at 10 in the AM but was too lazy!! Sometimes laziness is very detrimental! (I'm writing this so I believe it...) I did get two LOs and an invite done. I need to post those - they use some of Sweet Gen's kits! Beautiful kits, girl!
Anyway, my hubby made it back from out of town, and now I'm scurrying around to clean up the chaos we created by doing absolutely nothing yesterday! We picked up DH from the airport this morning and took him directly to work, so he hasn't seen the chaos yet...*whew*!
have a great day, y'all...I'll check in later for more moos, I'm sure!

I'm here late tonight, it's almost 10pm and my eyes want to close
Can I just say a big thankyou to you all for making this Moo feel rather Moo-vellous today
Chris, I'm not kidding about Christmas, it's frightening because I'm nowhere near prepared!
Were you civil at 5am Connie?? I would have grumped all day had that been me, cheeky rascals!
Ronee, you really are not having much success in the bedroom are you dear? And reading that back, it sounds rather risque!!! My DH had hiccups in bed once and drove me mad: other things he does that drive me mad include giggling in his sleep, pinching my pillows, thumping me, and the worst one of all? Being too far away over the other side of the bed when I need to cuddle up and get warm at 3am!
It's true how nothing is as funny at night as it is during the day isn't it Genevieve. I always knew there was a reason we didn't plan on children: we're too fond of our sleep!
Have you got that house straight Sally???
Well, it's goodnight from me, a Happy Moo because her hubby is home safely and today, she really did finally manage to finish something :D

HELLOOOOOOO!!!! WOW! Today was awesome. I lounged around ALL DAY!
I stayed up too late last night reading - because I could! and I didn't have to wake up early today so, ya know... well, that was wrong, DH woke me up at 6:30! (which is really 8:30 according to my normal time zone - but really). So, after he went to the conference, I went up to the roof and sat by the pool until I finished my book and came back down to the room and went back to sleep. I was asleep about 30 min when DH came back for lunch, so we went and ate lunch, walked through the park and I came back and went BACK to sleep LOL!!!!
Now, tonight we are going soon to the private party at Universal Studios - well private for the conference anyway LOL.
Gen, I'm in LA because my hubby had a work conference and so all we had to pay for was my plane ticket!!!! And we are staying in a MUCH nicer hotel than we would be if we were paying for this trip lol. I'm totally loving it!!!!!
Jane, I voted mooooooovelous too! I'd love to see the tut but I'm a PS devotee as well.
Connie, I would have hung up on them! That is incredibly rude and inconsiderate and grrrr, I should hush now. I cannot believe the nerve of some people.
Sally - batch - cookies - LMAO!!!!!! You crack me up!
Chris, AHAHHAHA you crack me up! I'll definately have that drink for ya tonight!
Oh yeah, Jane, come on over! I'll be here 1 more day LOL...
