So it's our second week of Daily Moos, and I've added the date so we don't get our Moos in a muddle, which we might as they're all still on the first page.

I had great fun doing my first challenge here at oscraps, the Ad challenge with Ronee, and seeing all the other interpretations was marvellous inspiration. If I've got my days right, she will be setting us a new challenge today: I'm looking forward to it and hope it tickles my creative side again so I can make something worthwhile.

Maggie has also posted a Scraplift Challenge (http://www.oscraps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=392) for this week, and a Sketch Challenge (http://www.oscraps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=391)to make a Thanksgiving or Happy Holiday card, with some great instructions too. I always think I'd love to have Thanksgivng here in the UK, but we don't, so I'll have to be content with seeing all your creative cards :)

Well I had best go and start my day properly and tidy around the house! There's plenty to get done before I can pop back here later for a chat :)

What part? I am going to Bath in April, then work my way up to Honfluer all in 1 week.

Maggie, I'm sorry I obviously wasn't as awake as I should have been! I've edited my post to say Holiday Card too :)

I'm on the north-west of England between Manchester and Liverpool. Bath is the south-west of England but not more than a few hours away. Perhaps we can find a place to meet and do lunch like Connie did :) I promise I'm a perfectly safe person to meet
I don't know when I am going to have time to scrap! waaaaaahhhhhh!
Oh dear, I felt that cry from the heart there! I hope you find some time - and if not, I'll find some time for you

Goood Mooooo-rning y'all!

I had a fantastic weekend!!! I finally am starting to feel like myself again! Let's keep our fingers crossed that the mono is behind us for good!!!!!!

Did you see I finally got "The Gift" posted! Woot! I love, love, love that kit. I'm so impressed by the Oscraps designers - they really stepped it up on this collab!!!! You Go Girls! (and it's on sale too! lol)

Check it out on the blog! It's so pretty!

Morning, everyone! :) Wow...I am so glad last week is over. Hopefully things will be a little less busy this week.

Jane, thanks for posting those challenges. I haven't scrapped in too long, and challenges always help me get back to it! Hopefully I'll get some time tonight.

Faerywings--I saw a BEAUTIFUL LO by you done with the Gift collab (*ahem* available here at Oscraps!)--wonderful job! Sorry scrapping time is going to be scarce for you this week!

So glad you're getting over your mono finally, Vicki! That stuff is bad news. Stay away from it in the future! ;) Actually, now you should be immune.

Anyways...I am busily finishing up a couple different Christmas items. One is up in the store today (will post it in the announcement forum in a sec), another will hopefully be up Wednesday, and another hopefully on Friday. Busy busy! But man, everyone else is coming out with their Christmas kits so darned early--I feel so much pressure (*sings* "Under pressure! Pushin' down on me..."). LOL So, back to work I go!

Later, girls!

Good Moo-rning all. I just finished my Tae-Bo workout which means I can get on the computer for a minute and check out the "O". (My kids aren't allowed on the computer unless they've practiced their instruments, so they got back at me with working out!! It worked and I'm working...*pant*...out...*pant*)

Anyway, this week is really busy for me, because my aunt is in town for the International Quilt festival, so I've been scurrying around getting babysitters so I can play with her! (two days this week anyway)

On a slightly sad note, our peewee football season is over as my son lost his first playoff game, so no more early Saturday mornings!! (It is sad because we are pretty addicted to football, as a lot of you know from my gallery!) We still have the banquet, and since I'm the team mom, I do still have a gob of work getting stuff ready for that! So, I'm not sure about scrapping time this week, either!

Thanks for all of the Christmas stuff!! November and December are my favorite months, and I can't wait to play with a digital Christmas card this year. I've always hand stamped 165 cards every year, and this year, I'll probably only do half with paper, and half digitally. And I plan on picking up Nativity costumes for my kids tonight (from our church). They are going to reenact the Nativity scene for my pic this year. Should be fun...I'll definitely post it here when it's done!!

Thanks for all of the Moos, Jane. I enjoy all of the *cow*nversation here!!

Top O the morning to all of you!
I LOVE Monday's - but it's a great thing to go back to work & the routine of it all.

I had such an awesome weekend! Meeting a digiscrapper for lunch for 3 hrs was THE best! We had so much in common. I took photos yesterday & enjoyed the wonderful weather - and got some scrapping done last night.

I did Ronee's Ad challenge & used Carla Gibson's kits along with a few things from the Gift collab kit. You're right Vicki - the designers really did an awesome job! It's very versatile too!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Now, I understand that the mooos is really 'news'!!! Wow, mom, I thought you knew how to spell better than that! I'm going to go see the sale you were talking about in your post this morning! I hope it's a gift for me! Now, where is that blog?

Good Mooorning OGirls

I was the scrapping queen this weekend, did a total of 4 layouts two of them with the new collab kit The Gift, which I happen to think is marvelous!
This looks to be a pretty busy week here at work, lots of meetings (I hate meetings  ) but I will manage to squeeze in some OTime and scrapping time.

The toe is feeling better, still can't wear shoes but it least it doesn't hurt like a Mother all the time.

I'll check back later ..

Have a good Monday :D

Mornin' all!

Gotta get the house cleaned up a bit today. I got lazy last night and didn't pick up before we all went to bed, and I can't stand waking up to a messy house!

I'm glad you liked the ad challenge last week Jane! I've got another ready to go and I'll be posting it just a bit later today. I hope you all come join me again this week!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Evenin' all :D

I've just popped on to have a nose around before leaving for the day. Thanks for all the kind comments about how you enjoy our daily chat :D Sometimes I'm not feeling at all cheerful when I write it, but you know what? By the end of the day it brings a smile to see everyone here :D

Well, we're a bit ticked off here. Not only was DH over an hour late home tonight, we then realised that floor tiles in the kitchen aren't coming up because they're not sticky: they're coming up because the boiler has been dripping water and the floor is soaked!! My nice man who can fix anything is popping round tomorrow afternoon to sort me out

Sally, I'm sorry your son lost his first game: he must be disappointed. It's no comfort knowing there's a "next season" either.

Glad that toe is better Anna, I hope it's not too long before you can get shoes on :)

I'll check for the ad challenge tomorrow Ronee: I'm far too tired and irritable now to enjoy anything!

Night night :D
VickiStegall
10-30-2006, 01:39 PM
Ack! Water dripping from the boiler is not a good thing! I'm glad you've got someone who can 'sort you out' lol!

I'm off to pick up the munchkin from school. He gets his new cast this afternoon. We're very excited!
Anna

Jane the water dripping from the boiler sounds like a very bad thing, no wonder your irritable.

Vicki get ready, usually when they take a cast off there is a certain aroma that will make you want to throw up.........uckkkk the joys of parenting.

LOL Anna! Actually it was fine! No smell at all. Maybe it's because I was so particular about keeping it dry? We got a waterproof one this time though!!!!

In my Paul Harvey voice....now for page 2

Ok I'll give this a shot! I am not much of a talker, but have enjoyed lurking and reading and Laughing  at all of your postings!
My life is pretty dull, I sit at my desk all day, designing, reading emails and growing a fat butt! I spend time with my DH and DD and thats about it! See I told you ....boring! Ok enough I'll let someone else shine! I'll check back in tomorrow....tomorrow tomorrow I love you tomorrow you're only a day a way. Excuse me

LMFAO Carla! Boy am I glad this isn't in stereo!!! I wouldn't mind Paul Harvey, but if your Annie impersonation is anything like mine... well, noone needs to hear that LOL
Anna
10-30-2006, 08:14 PM
Oh Carla I have nothing exciting going on either I just tend to overdramatize things.........ROFLMAO.

Plus if you hang out here you get to hear about Miss JANE's gardener......ohhhlala 8)
Connie

Girls I drove home in snow - yes that 4 letter word. At 50 miles per hour...can we say boring? I prefer my 70 (I call it warp speed - dh is a trekkie.) Anyway - 3-5 inches predicted - and my daffodils haven't arrived.

Well, since it's after 11 - I'll tell you that Jane shared a photo of her DH & yep girls - he's easy on the eyes! And her garden gate is to die for! (give Jane something worthwhile to read when she gets up in a few hours! *giggle* )

Carla - so nice to hear from you! Join us with whatever is on your mind - it's all good. And we'll help... (that could be good or bad!)

Anna - I'm so glad that your toe is recovering! And meetings - ugh - I do some that are 6 hrs long... yucky doo!

Vicki - what color is the new cast? Another girl attracting shade? Your guy's gonna be a heartbreaker!

And to wrap this silly post up - this last one is for Chris... (and to show Carla how applicable these threads are!) Remember Chris asking if kids get over being picky about food? Well yesterday was one of those moments ... My dtr (remember that she's 17) looks at the hotdish & comments - boy you put a lot of corn in there! (so, I like corn!) ... and then she proceeds to ask 'Why didn't you put any vegetables in there?' ... um ok then. nuff said! She wanted green beans - it turns out & carrots too. My dh said - I don't like green beans.... I said - next time, I'm putting peas in there! (both hate peas). So you see, this is why I love my dd's boyfriend because he always thinks my cooking is perfect.

And that my friends, is THE REST of the story.

nitey-nite girls.

(check page 1 of this thread, the second clue that you will find here will be a hard one cuz that post is no longer at the top of the blog... but it refers to "the Gift" collab kit in the store....)

Can someone gently tell Krista that Santa is coming & Halloween is like 11 months away. Break it to her g e n t l y though, ok?
