It's another glorius day here and we're off out to The Lake District!!! DH is off work today, so we're going on a trip, and taking our cameras. Later this evening we will come back via Blackpool and take some photographs of the Illuminations and maybe have fish 'n' chips for supper :D

Congratulations to our Anna!!! Well done on being the Featured Gallery at DigiShoppe... and if your head isn't too big, can I pick your brains sometime about how to use Outlook better?? I'm intrigued you might be getting more out of it than me

Ronee, how's the vacuum cleaner? Did you fix it?

Connie, glad to have been of service last night - well, it was night-time for me

Have a nice lunch Anna & Vicki :D

Well, I'm going to go and get ready so e can enjoy this sunshine! See you laters ladies :D

Good Moo-rning every one, lets here a great big TGIF!!!!

Anna, I couldn't see the gallery from the link- al I got was some garble, If I have an extra minute to breathe, I am going to see if I cam decipher enough to get to it. But wow! props to you!

cello-- did I get to say that I loved your Nativity Photo? So cute! How was the Quilt Show. I was working for my MIL yesterday, she had just gotten back Tues night from there. She said that her fabric line did great, and the projects she designed helped Anna Griffin win "Best New Booth." her Xmas Quilt kit has been flying out the door and she even had to re-order more fabric to fill more orders. I swear, I have cut so many of those kits, I see the fabric in my sleep.

Maggie, how was the job fair?
For dry skin-- anything with a high concentration of shea butter is great. very rich, not grreasy and heals amazing. I have a neighbor who had such dry skin on his legs that he would scratch until they bled. I made some whipped shea butter for him, and he was floored at how fast it helped heal his skin.

Connie, I want to come to your library too!!!

Ack! Is is after 7am, gotta run and wake the kids... TTYS!!!
xoxox and have a wonderful day!

Anna's gallery at The Digi Shoppe (http://www.thedigiboutique.com/studio/showgallery.php?mcats=&si=&what=allfields&name=anna&when=0&whenterm=&condition=and) Congratulations Anna!! What a great honor - but you so deserve it! Your LO's are fabulous!

I agree, Chris, TGIF! It's been a long 3 weeks. I'll be a htg widow this weekend (well, mine is working - but I'm going to make some apple cider & scrap away.) I can't wait to play with Carla's kits!!

Jane - how is Blackpool different from Liverpool? Share a photo with us please? I can't get enough of your land. Enjoy your day out!

I'll be back later...have to hit the road. Happy Friday all! (no daffodil bulbs yet - it's a gonna be a fast cold plant for those babies).

Good MOOOrning girls!!

TGIF is right!! Although we usually just make up any work we haven't finished, today the kids have to make up two days...oh well...

I had a great time at the Quilt show yesterday. There are some absolutely gorgeous art quilts on display there!! WOW!!

Chris, I didn't see the Anna Griffin Booth...or it might have been at market where the vendors display to sell only to stores? But it sounds heavenly!!

I hope Jane is having a wonderful traveling day! prayers for good health to you today, Jane!!!

Today is my paper scrapping/stamping day. I've got so many projects I need to finish. And I hope to take my Christmas pics...we'll see how that turns out! Yike...I'm out of hours and the day hasn't even started!

Have a wonderful Friday, y'all!! (that's my Texan coming out...heh heh!)

Happy Saturday to you too Nancy! lol (You're ahead of our time, girl! lol)

I'm glad that you enjoyed the quilt show Sally! I love textiles. They put out so many beautiful things! Hope you got a lot done today

I was a wild woman at work this morning - getting stuff done (so much so that my girls were wondering when I was going home!) - bu, oh man  at 4 something nasty hit me & I was feeling so sick I wasn't sure if I could drive home - yuck! But I made it & took a break from the puter screen. (You know you're sick if you don't want to read email or the forums!) I just so don't want to be sick on the weekend. ugh - it will cut into my Connie time!

Everyone's gone tonite here - so I'm just hanging out with the cats.

Thanks ma'am! I am feeling a bit better. I made another quick page for pdw (so now I have 3). I've put out a question on how to put text inside a curve for psp 11. Anyone here know?

I found the offset - that just slides it onto the circle line. And I can flip it into the inside - but that mirrors the text. So I'd like it to read from left to right, with the bottom of the text inside the circle.

And I organized Carla's kits so I'm ready to get started tomorrow - with some serious scrapping!

Those are great new kits in the newsletter Vicki!

OY! So, I worked my tail off today getting everything done and ready because Friday night is date night. Well, date night didn't end up happening.

Alyx was supposed to have a sleepover at the neighbors but the boys decided to be "scientists" in the "clubhouse" - the nieghbors shed in the backyard. So, yeah, guess who got to call poison control. Both boys are fine. They didn't actually get anything that could harm them and not enough of it at that, since they just 'tasted' but - damn. Scared us all to pieces!!!! So, needless to say, no sleepover for the boys.

But, we did turn it into an educational opportunity - for the younger brother of the neighbor as well. Hopefully none of them will touch any chemicals again.

Hug your little ones & your big ones tonight! (or this morning, whenever you are reading this)

Uff da Vicki! kids keep one hopping, huh? At least it turned out ok. They probably had a good scare themselves which should help to prevent something like that in the future.

With my dtr on the road - I tend to ponder every time the phone rings - has there been an accident? She & friends went shopping tonite - 60 miles away -- but they seem to do ok despite my worrying.

Well - I stayed up way to late. Jane will be getting up soon! One of these days I'm going to post the daily & surprise her!
