Intro of a very new newbie page 1

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to say hi and intoduce myself. I am a paper scrapper that has just tried digi scrapping for the first time and I am loving it!!! It has been a large learning curve but I think I am getting the hang of it - all due to Ronee of course since she is holding my hand! I am sort of obsessed with this now as can see in my gallery - I made my first 5 pages in just over 24 hours!!

I am sort of afraid of what I have got myself into...LOL

Hoping to get to know everyone here.

Welcome to Oscraps, Crystal!! I saw your first layout at DST & all I can say is impressive! And I was at that welcome chat at DST - and I'm glad that didn't scare you away (most chats there aren't that fast).

It is addictive but very fun! And one can be so much more creative than with paper. What I like about it is that I can undo what I've done - or redo something if I change my mind - which is all the time! lol That was tough with scissors.

Maybe everyone can share why they're addicted? And Crystal please join our daily hang out here. We talk about anything & everything :)

WOW! I am so totally impressed!!!!!!!!

I'm addicted to digital scrapbooking because my pages take up less space (you should see my paper scrapbook storage OMG!) and because I can back them up to CD/DVD and carry that out in case of emergency instead of a truckload of heavy albums!

Hello Crystal!!

Your first pages are great! I'm glad you're enjoying it :)

I was never a paper-scrapper, I came straight to digital from cross stitch designing really. I loved it that here was a hobby where people didn't consider it cheating to use a computer to make great art :)

I hope you'll stay and join in with us - it's lovely friendly crowd here :D

Your pages are awesome. I can't believe you just started doing this! I'm addicted to digital because I can print out copies for everyone, back them up in 3 different place, I can undo, and best of all... no mess!

I am addicted to Digi because I sucked as a paper scrapper......seriously never even liked paper scrapping and would end up with crooked paper and glue stuck to my forhead........... :D

Welcome to the DARK SIDE! :) :) :) Once I went digi - I never wen back! I STILL have over $5,000 dollars worth of paper scrapbooking stuff in my arsenal. Let me know if you need anything! :) :) :)

You too Tania? umm yeah - I know the feeling, but I've never added it up quite like that. My paper is in a milk crate & many lbs, and then there is the sizzix selection, and the creative memories stuff - oh yeah... and what about the stampin up, close to my heart & .... well..... yep - still have it all!

But digi does rock!

Thanks ladies for the warm welcome. I do have a confession to make - I am not new to scrapping so I have just translated what I know from that to digital and that has helped. I have a long way to go with digital as I am still learning my software but with more practice I will get there. Oh and one more confession...I will always be a paper scrapper at heart just because I actually enjoy the mess!!! Of course now that I have digital I am having fun flipping back and forth when I am creatively blocked.

Thanks for everything ladies and I am really enjoying checking in here as I find the time.
