They say simple things amuse simple minds. And in my case, it is very true. hahahahah! :)
For a disclaimer, I am pretty computer savvy and have been using computers for many years. When I was in college - back in 86-92- we had to use computers for certain projects with teaching and I also learned how to use an Apple (not a mac!) for education in the classrooms. (I have a Elementary Ed. degree). I have also been online for 10 years or so. So please don't think I am completely dense. Somewhat dense, yes- totally dense-....not quite there yet. :D
But every once in a while I "discover" something that I assume everyone else knows, but makes my computer life so much easier.
I thought (hoped) maybe others had the same things happen and thought we could share our discoveries in this thread?
Here are two to start off with
(now-- don't laugh!)
F5 refreshes your page. My keybd tray broke and now I have a harder time switiching from mouse to keybd, so I have been using a lot more keybd short cuts. Who knew F5 would refresh the page? (OK put your hands down!)
A really easy way to add a layer style, like a drop shadow, in CS2 is to do it on one layer, click "copy layer style" Ctrl Click all of the other layers that you want to add the drop shadow to- When they are all selected, right click on "paste layer style" Voila! Drop shadows on all your layers.
Hope these help someone out there.
And if you discovered something that you figure everyone else knows, post it here. I am betting that someone (like me!) doesn't know it yet.

Cool idea for a thread! I don't have time at the moment to think of something but I will later!!!

I'm still mad that you can just drag layer styles in photoshop like you could in v7
Did you know that hitting "F" will change you screen modes in photohop and if you hit tab all your menus will go away until you hit tab again. Great if you have a small monitor like me.
