Hi,
Vicki - I've been thinking about this for awhile.... there are people sporting 'I am a fan of.... ' blinkies.

Would it be possible to get an O blinkie that says
O - oscraps.com - I am an - oscraps fan! -
Have you had - your big - O - ?

(I know, it's blinkie envy...... but I seriously would like to support this site. I see that it's moved up to 55 in the top 50! WOOOHOOOO ) Ok, is that top 50 envy? not me - I just think it should be up there

Anyway, thanks for considering it Vicki. (I would do it - but I don't know how to alter the gifs - or I would've snagged yours long ago. I don't think I have the software.) And maybe there are others that would sport a oscraps fan blinkie?

Wooo hoooo!! Others want an O scraps blinkie too!! I knew it would be a hit. :)

And if there could be a clickable link embedded in there - I think that would be even more awesome. (I click on blinkies & when they don't go anywhere - I don't look any further). But I don't know how hard it is to make it clickable.

I had a brainstorm this morning! I remembered that Leah had already made these!!! And it was posted in our old forums which I never got around to getting rid of - woohoo procastination pays off! So, I'm copying and pasting that info here!

Hi! For those you who don't know me. I'm Leah Riordan (mommyish designs) If you guys are like me you love some blinkie action! Well, for your blinking pleasure we have made some great blinkies for you guys! For those of you who don't quite know HOW to put up blinkies here is a little tutorial.

Downloading & Uploading

First you need to save the blinkie. Right click - save as and be sure to put it somewhere you can remember (like your desktop) Then you need to upload you blinkie to a photo hosting site. If you are like me you can ftp it to your own website, if not you can have it hosted somewhere like photobucket.com Putting a Blinkie in your signature Under where it says "welcome "insert your screen name here"" click on "Settings" under settings go to "signature" add this code into the box (be sure to take out spaces) ::

[ img ] your blinkie url here [ /img ]

For example [ img ] http://mommyish.net/images/blinkie.gif [ /img ]

How to make your blinkie a "link"

Once you get the hang of this it all starts to make sense. You need to "wrap" the link around the image. To do this you add this code

[ url = your site here ] [ img ] your blinkie url here [ /img ] [ /url ]

for example

[ url = http://www.oscraps.com ] [ img ] http://www.oscraps.com/image/oaddict.gif [ /img ] [ /url ]

Make sure you take out the spaces and of course change the links to where your image is located and of course link the site you are wanting to link.

And once they are set up - they can be copied & pasted to your siggy in other sites. Fabulous new skill!
