How did everyone do with their WWW's?

Today is Thursday Temptations, right Jane?
What are you tempted to do today?
Mine are:
1. Snuggle back up under my covers and sleep (has anyone noticed a pattern here with me? :lol: )
2. Ignore all of the house work and bake Xmas cookies.
3. Ignore the cookies and scrap!

Oh yes Chris, TOT, Temptations On Thursday :D
I made a mistake and tried a few sips of wine last night and I felt dreadful, and still do. It really was no more than a couple of sips but it's knocked me for six, so that's it, I will remain teetotal for the foreseeable future :D
I have only one TOT:
To go pick a new book (library delivery today!) and sit and read all afternoon :D

My WWWs- we didnt get any snow, I didnt find a house, but Caleb didnt feel any pain! :) Im happy!

My TOT is to leave work early and go to the movies, helas it's a dream I'm working a 14 hour day today and tomorow.
I can't wait for the weekend.

You always have such cozy ideas, Chris and Jane. Indulge, indulge, indulge.
It's 3 degrees outside. I vote for something involving snuggling under several layers with a stash of chocolate cookies and a book. But I HAVE to go outside and deliver DD to school this morning. (She asked me yesterday why kids don't feel the cold like grown-ups do...good question! She LOVES it! The only thing she hates about winter is that I won't let her wear her flip-flops.) DS has his first Christmas concert tonight, and I'm SOOOO looking forward to his performance. He's four, so it's gonna be way cute!
Um, what goes CRASH in the night? Burglars busting through your window? Large framed art pieces falling of the wall? No, keep thinking, it's Christmas-time...YUP! You guessed it! A SEVEN FOOT TREE BEDECKED WITH FRAGILE ORNAMENTS! That's how DH and I woke up this morning. At 4 a.m. on the nose. And, yeah, it had to land on the hardwood floor, not the carpet. So we lost an angel completely, and a poor Snow Baby is missing a foot (think I can glue that back on, though). Said tree is propped up in the corner, and I'm thinking that next year we won't be going au naturale.
Thursday temptations, here goes:
(1) Return to Texas, but only if I can live in our old house (that might get kinda crowded if the current owners decide to stay)
(2) Pitch the real tree tout sweet and assemble the fake one sitting so forlornly in the basement...hey, I think the fake tree may have cursed the real one! YEAH! That's what happened!
(3) Stay up really late and scrap, eventhough I've been awake (well, at least physically awake) for too long and will probably be a major Crank-Meister tomorrow...but it'll be FRIDAY, so who cares???????
Hope all's well with everyone today. And the way things went in the Daily O's yesterday, we'd all better keep our kids away from trees. Don't say I didn't warn ya!

I will forever think of the Oooo's as the Moooos... forgive me, I'm old and stuck in my ways. ;)
So, last night I'm merrily working away on the puter- ok, I was chatting in Hello with Krista and Ronee and Alyx says, "Mom, how many days til Christmas?" And, I'm all fa-la-la-la-la-la, pull up the calendar, do quick math and say, "19 days baby". Alyx - "19 Days!!!" all excited of course and it sinks in! 19 DAYS! Then I think, it's 9pm, it's really 18 days!!!! OH BARNACLES! (ok, so that's not really what I said but...So, who's up for panic time with me? I am sooooo behind and I didn't even know it.
Ok, wanna know where barnacles comes from? One day Alyx says to me, "Mom, can I say sh*t?" me- "Um, no." Alyx- "Ok. Can I say barnacles instead." me - "You betcha!" Anna says I need to scrap that... maybe I will...
My tot's for today...
Rent movies and curl up on the couch...
What I'll really do... go to the bank, post office and goodwill like I was supposed to yesterday. When it wasn't so bitter cold out - ugh!

A quick drive by - because I'm feeling guilty for not checking in this morning... know what I did? filled out my FLEX reimbursement - gads! But if I'm going to move forward & have Christmas. I have to get caught up I'd say!
So I've put myself on vacation effective noon today! Work has just been too demanding - almost like work or somefin!!
and ohhhhhhhhh baby is it cold out! -15 REAL temp my car said -- and the radio said wind chill warning - uh huh. So girls we're going to have a heat wave - tomorrow will be 32. Now that's almost 50 degree increase!! shorts weather! (hahahahha) (I need gas again too but not today - no way)
Sorry to hear about your Christmas tree crash, Jen. That happened to us one year & we decided to not get one so big. AND we wired it to the wall. But it didn't revive my glass victorian ornaments.
I'll be back with ya'll laters.

Good morning.
I am glad that I am not farther north. The sun just warmed us up to a positive 1 degree. I avoided waiting outside at the bus stop with the kids by going to the gym. I drive to the bus stop, wait in the car until the bus comes and then go straight to the gym. I get two bonuses: keeping warming and it gets me to the gym.
Temptations:
Eat all the homemade cookie dough ice cream in the freezer, wrapped in a cuddly warm blanket, in front of my fireplace with a great book with NO interruptions -- like kids.
Instead I have about an hour and half to play on the forums, scrap, & have lunch. Then I am off to school to help kindergartens decorate gingerbread houses, have a quick break to prep for challenge math, and then try control 10 excitable 3rd graders and do challenge math.
