Good Mooo-nday mooorning O's.
How was everyone's weekend. Ours was not too bad. I am starting to see a light at the end of the handmade gift tunnel. And it shouldn't be too much longer before the last projects get finished. A big part of that was deciding to limit my scrapping for my dad's heritage album to 10 LO's. He can consider it a work in progress. I have 8 done so far, so only 2 more to go. I'll try to resize and post them in my gallery some day this week.
I saw Vicki's LO's of her wedding. They are so wonderful and I hope that she submits them to the Simple Scrapbooks Magazine Call

Go Vicki!!!
A lot of us are having fun in the Help Me thread, where we are taking turns sharing some interesting facts about ourselves. Some of them are basic facts, some very funny, others quite persoanl and revealing. Come jointhe fun!

Good morning although it's evening here. We had a pretty fun weekend with a Christmas party on Saturday night. We had an white elephant gift exchange and I walked away with this awful tea pot. It's just creepy but funny too. My dd seems to be getting sicker rather than better so today we did absolutely nothing. Hoping she gets better soon... she has her gym class on Wed.
Off to eat some oreo pie! mmmm

Gooooood Moooooooringing!!!!
I too loved those layouts of Vicki's wedding! So cool! And the "help me" thread is sooooo fun! I have REALLY enjoyed reading about you guys. I sure hope we get some more players and that it ends up like 20 pages long!!!
I hope your daughter feels better soon Mellissa :)
I get to take the boys to the ER again today to get Caleb's stitches out. FUN!
Hope you all have a not so bad Monday! :D

Thanks y'all for the kind words about my layouts! I did submit both of them. I've never submitted before so that was kind of fun and nerve wracking.
My munchkin is going to be staying home sick today. I had to go pick him up at lunch last friday because he had a fever and a sore throat. Still has the fever and was up every 2 hours last night, so he's staying home again today. So much for me getting anything done today ;)
I got my Christmas cards done and in the mail on Saturday! This was the fastest and easy card I've ever done!!! Hooray for digiscrapping!!!!!
I've got a ton of stuff to get in the store today - nothing from me lol, but a bunch from the other fab designers here.
I'm going to try to squeeze in one more wedding layout but going to do the 'real' site work first.

Good morning ladies,
I agree!! Vicki's wedding layouts were awesome!! What a cool thing to have a theme wedding. It looks like it was so much fun. :) Mine was formal & I need to scrap it. All my informal snaps are in evil magnetic albums - ugh!
Morning, Chris! Thank you for the great job starting the O's today. Those people receiving your gifts are lucky indeed!
Morning Jane! (that's in advance for when you get here *grin*)
Melissa - I hope that your dd gets well soon. Seems to be the season. And wishing Vicki's son healing vibes too
Tiffany - hope the stitches come out ok - boys seem to handle that with aplomb
And girls - at least I can see today with out the searing pain. My eye looks pretty sad - but the antibiotics should heal it up. Good thing I have those 'fashion frames' to wear -- ha ha. (I don't wear them often because they're really narrow & not overly practical when the corrected vision is in such a narrow field - but necessary now I guess).
I have a mtg at work late tonite so I'm bumming this morning (maybe get the scrapping that I had planned on yesterday done this morning...). Oh - and I need to wrap up the BIG December event for Oscraps - we're all going to be singing the 12 days of Christmas girls - so find your singing voices. It's caroling time!

D'OH! I just posted a Daily Ooos thread for Monday, Dec. 11th because I didn't see one. Because this one is named Monday December FIRST! LOL So, Vicki (or other person with admin powers), please feel free to delete my Daily Ooos thread so it doesn't get confusing. ;)
Anyways, morning, everyone! I survived my busy Saturday--ill-planned bridal shower and all. Not only was it ridiculous that they had to have the thing in December, but when we showed up (10 minutes late), they were still decorating and putting the party favors together! They didn't get started until a half hour after the thing was supposed to start. OY! But the Christmas dinner party for DH's work was fun!
And my big news for today is that Mia WALKED last night! :) It was very exciting for DH & me. I managed to snap ONE perfect shot, and I scrapped it immediately. Will post to the gallery soon, and link back here! ;)
ETA: Here's the layout! Baby Steps (http://www.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2192&cat=500&ppuser=1256)
Good luck with your submissions, Vicki! They're beautiful! Sorry Alyx is still sick! Poor guy!
Connie, sorry about your eye--contact problems suck! I actually ran out of contacts a while back and am too lazy to go get another exam so I can get more. Thus, I'm a glasses geek lately! ;)
Tiffany, hope the stitch removal goes smoothly!
And YAY, Chris, for getting to the end of your handmade gifts! I'm sure they will be very appreciated!
Melissa--you should take pics of your tea pot so we can all laugh! ;)

Mooorning, Girlies!!!!
I'm glad to be back part of the OOOOOOs here. I've been lurking everyday, but my exciting life has prevented me from posting like I like to!! (OK...It's not that exciting, but I am sooo thankful at the blessings I have, so it seems exciting!)
I played a concert yesterday, which went well. All you string players out there (and I know who you are...check out the HELP ME thread and you, too, can know who they are!!), get your instruments out and whip up some Christmas cheer!!
I have a week of Messiahs this week. I'm really excited, because my mom is playing her cello with me! It should be really fun!!
My baby (4yog) has been sick, too all weekend. THis morning she seems fine!! I hope she doesn't have a fever today. Today will be her second swimming lesson she is missing and I don't want to have to make up a million lessons. We are getting a pool put in, and I wanted my 7 and 4yos to know how to swim before the water was in it!! so I signed them up for lessons 5 days a week for two weeks. Today is the start of the second week.
Anyway, I have soooo many crafting projects I want to do, but my dishes and laundry are calling me desperately! I hope to play this afternoon. I have to upload my two Christmas pics to have you guys help me choose. I'll do that when I get home from swimming this morning.
Chris, thanks for starting the thread. Wish you lived close so I could get some baskets from you, too!! Sounds really neat.
Connie, when I was in Jr High, I wore my hard contacts too long and had abrasions on my eyes and had to keep them shut for 24 hours! Yuk!! so I was feeling for you. At least you have the fashion frames...I had the worst, ugliest pair (cheapest...I was going to be wearing my contacts!) of glasses and when I had to wear them everyday, my parents (rightfully so) wouldn't buy me a new stylish pair. So now because I was tramatized as a child (ha!), I never look at the prices of frames, just buy whatever looks good!!!
Vicki!!!!!!!!! Christmas cards in the mail!!!!!! I'm soooooooo jealous!!!!!!! You go, girl!! I loved your LOs also, and your band story!
Tiffany, have fun in the ER (wonder why you aren't just going to your reg doc, but I guess the doc that saw him wants to check, huh?)
Melissa, I'm right there with you with that sick little girlie! Glad you had fun at your party! I love white elephant gift exchanges...I have one at my church this Sunday...I'm trying to dig up something really funny! Like an old BeeGees album or something!!
And to everyone who comes in later, have a great MOO-ey Monday!! (that's for Jane when she pops in!!)

Hey Gen,
we were posting at the same time...hee hee! I'm a glasses geek, too, because...
just after I had my third child, my oldest (5 at the time) replaced the solution for rubbing alcohol in my contacts case. I didn't really know and put the contact in my eye and OUCH!! But, I didn't have to keep my eyes shut for 24 hrs!! Yea! But, instead of going to the eye doc and get new contacts which were too expensive because we were buying a house at the time, I just wore glasses! Now, we say it is a fashion statement!! (My dd ssys I shouldn't blame her, but thank her, because my glasses are cool!how funny is that...7 years later!)
have a great Monday!

ouch ! I should've come in earlier ! now there's an awfull lot to read and answer, and I'm not sure my tired brains will cope with it properly
faerywings, I followed your instructions and went off to read the "HELP ME" thread (that's why I forgot about posting in this thread afrterwards  ). It's nice and funny to read and share these things about ourselves :)
melissa, hope your daughter feels better soon ! give her a kiss for me :)
tiffany, hopes everything goes fine with the sitchets removal ... !
Vicki, I just love those layouts too. I'm sure they'll go right into the magasine ! and I'm quite impressed with the "all the christmas cards in the mail" part ! .... If only I was half as organized as you are
hello Connie, good to read that your eye is getting better, and that it doesn't hurt so much anymore :)
Genevieve, congrats for MIA ! those are very exciting moments indeed ... :) She looks so cute and proud on the picture. lovely LO !
Sally, I do have a cello somewhere in the house. I used to be the one playing it ... but I must admit I've not played in ages .... :( My elder daughter started playing the piano almost 2 years ago, and having musinc again in the house is wonderfull, but I haven't had the courage nor the time to open that cello box again lately ....
this week is my last week at work before a 3 weeks holiday !! I've got tons of things to sort ou and to do, but I'm very excited and eager to be on friday night  (work has been such a pain lately .... a little rest is more than welcome )

Good morning everyone!
Vicki -- Your wedding layouts were amazing. Good luck. And you got your Christmas cards in the mail. So jealous. At least mine are ordered and I ordered stamps from USPS too so there should be nothing stopping me from mailing them out when I get them.
Connie -- hope your eye is doing good and it doesn't spread to the other eye. aye aye matey!
For all of those with sick kids -- Hope they are feeling better soon. I am not sure which is worse: seeing your kid sick or trying to take care of healthy kids while you are sick. Both are difficult.
Tiffany -- when my kids got stitches removed they thought it tickled. I woudn't worry too much.
Melissa -- I want to see that teapot too!

Holy Moly I'm not sure I can recap either lol
My oldest is home sick so it's thrown a wrench into my plans for the day. I have an endless list of chores to do and I'd like to scrap and maybe start on a card or too. I'm not feeling too committed here lol
I'm sending healthy vibes to all that need them and wishing you all a Happy Monday!

Well gals, we're finally up at my house. Have I mentioned how much I like having a baby that's not a morning person! My house is starting to look bare and boxed up. It snowed 6 inches last night though, and it's supposed to snow again the day of the big move. Yuck! At leat I only have one more week of this moving nightmare.
I'm on my old computer for a bit until my computer's all better. This one is soooo incredibly slow it really makes me grateful for the one I've got. The hard drive on it is completly full so whenever I try to save a psd file it tells me I don't have enough space, and if I try to do any filters it tells me I don't have enough memory! As slow as it is though, I wouldn't have been able to submit anything without it, so I'm glad I've got it.
I've been way too busy to even think about Christmas, but I probably should get on it LOL!

I'm enjoying that 'Help Me' thread too - everybody here is so interesting.
There's this annoying illness going around here. I've had it for over a month! Luckily they let me stay home and work via the internet. Some guy from church informed me that it takes 'weeks' to get over :?
I have no designing mojo whatsoever so I will just enjoy all the pretty stuff Vicki plans to upload.
