MOO!!

Bet that made you all jump

Warm wishes to you all this Christmas Eve :D Is everyone ready? Well, Vicki is not only ready but all finished too at her house  Great idea to open presents and save carting them away with you: it was one thing I used to struggle with when I lived away from family. Now we're all within 15 minutes travelling, and my parents' are only a scooter ride away so it makes life much easier. They are due here tomorrow, along with MIL for present opening and Christmas Day lunch cooked by DH :D

Carla I hope your visit with your father goes well :)

Did the baking go well Connie? Just how many EHD's does Heidi have? I'm very restrained and have just the one at the moment and it's hardly used any space at all!

Leah, did you get all your presents?

Erin, how lovely to throw a surprise party for your friend - di you have a great time?

Chris, I hope all your cleaning is done and you're now able to just sit back and enjoy Christmas Eve :D

DH has all his presents to wrap today, and I made him some gift tags because I'd used them all up! Also, we've got to get to grips with this shrink paper: I've had a couple of disasters and need his help to complete the last two key rings I'm trying to make. We've just got final tidying up to do and we will be ready for tomorrow.

Good Morning Jane!!!

And to everyone!

Sure glad to know everything is finally settling down for you Jane and hope you enjoy your dinner and family tommorrow.

I went to bed so early last night...i was exhausted, so here i sit too early in the morning in my brand new comfy computer chair chatting away! :D

We are doing Christmas today! Jesse came in yesterday afternoon, which means he had plenty of time to regenerate his hours for driving, and oilfield is booming right now, so they will probably call later this morning. But on a positive note, he is making HOLIDAY pay!!! Which means a better vacation in February!! :D Have to look at the positive side. LOL.

I sure hope that you all have a very wonderful Christmas and enjoy all the wonders that this day brings! I'll be thinking about you all!

So awesome to hear from you Jane! Have a Merry Christmas girl! I bet you had a bit of reading to do to catch up! :)

And Chris hope you can get a nap in later

Maggie - I hope the new job works out for you - it's fun chatting with you girl!

Tiffany - I'm glad that your dh is busy - glad that you're well rested & ready for the day!

And my baking isn't done! lolol I spent yesterday aft/evening organizing with ACDSee - how silly is that? So today I'll be having some super serious quality time with that rolling pin in preparation for tonite. The gifts are all wrapped though - thanks to my dd!

And here senior pic's look so awesome in their frames. They're all wrapped now & ready for giving!

JANE!!!!!! Hughughughughug!!!

We had a great drive yesterday, no problems at all and not too much traffic.

Alyx is running a pretty high fever today and not feeling so good. Let's hope it passes quickly. I'm off to the store to pick up some comfort foods for him in a bit.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Jane!!! It's so good to see you! Yes the party went well, turns out he hasn't celebrated his birthday is 15 years, so he was so happy. I also got some shrink paper to try out lol! Don't have any projects in mind though, but I had to get it when I saw it in the store.

Chris, I hope you've taken a nap by now!

Tiff, have fun doing Christmas today

Maggie, is this a last minute announcement? Good luck, I'll keep you in my thoughts

Connie, I can understand scrapping while you should be doing something else, but organizing!!!! just step away from the computer... lol

Vicki, sorry Alyx is sick again, poor kid, he just got better!

Well, I'm almost done with my xmas stuff. I still need to get something for my dh though. We decided just to do something small for eachother this year because we just bought a house and didn't have much time to prepare this year, so I decided to get him a newspaper subscription because he's always telling me how much he just loves getting a paper.

Well, they weren't supposed to start it until Tuesday when we were all back home, but yesterday as he's leaving he sees the paper sitting there on the doorstep and asks about it. Of course, I tell the truth instead of making up some lie about it probably is the neighbors, so he has no suprises coming tomorrow. I was so livid, but of course the subscription office was closed so I couldn'tt yell at anyone there

He is just the hardest person in the world to shop for. I was going to scrap some more of his childhood pictures (started an album for his last birthday) but I just haven't had time. So at this point I have no idea what to get him.

Jane! Jane! Jane is here! Woohooo! {{{{HUG}}}

Chris - Take a nap you silly girl! You need some time for yourself. It is Christmas afterall!

Connie - Have fun baking. I have cookies to bake today too, but I finished my pie last nigh. That's right I'm a regular pie baker ever since Thanksgiving, just whipped one up with the ingredients in the cupboard!

Erin - That sucks about the paper! My DH is so hard to surprise that I won't wrap his present and bring it out of hiding until Christmas morning. I swear the boy can guess anything. This is so cheezy but what about a mix CD, and you could scrap the cover? Pick a theme, like a photo from his childhood for the front, and then choose old songs from when he was a kid, nostalgic stuff.

Maggie- Good luck on the job!

Vicki - I hope Alyx feels better. That totally sucks to be sick on Christmas! I really need to get my butt in gear and send you the stuff I was going to. You know what... if you can find a good health food store open with some Lavender Essential Oil (the real stuff not the fragrence,) look for brands like Simplers, or Oshadhi. (I don't like Aura Cacia because they are not clear about where all their oils come from and their wording about whether or not they test on animals is a little hazy)

Anyway, put like three drops into a bowl of luke warm water, soak a washrag in it and sponge him down. It will help break the fever, stop naseau, aches and pains/headaches, and help him get some sleep.

Okay, doctor Ronee off her soap box, lol.

Tiffany - Have fun with DH today!

We are heading up to my Dad's today for brunch. It's about a two hour drive. It shouldn't be too bad though. After we get home this afternoon we are all gonna bake and frost cookies, and watch Elf, because I decided we would start our own family tradition for Christmas Eve.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Hello all,

Just stopping by to chat. We are traveling but in-laws have a wireless network that they don't even use so I am on and connected.

We too opened up our presents for the kids before we started traveling. I couldn't pack everything. The worst part is the kids opened them up, played with a few of the things for about 2 hours, sent them to bed and left bright and early the next morning. They won't get to play with the new stuff until we get back home. They were somewhat disappointed about that.

Everyone sounds like they are busy with plans.

Jane, to answer your question about EHD's. I only have 3 right now but have bought 4. The fourth is being delivered to dear sis. 2 of the EHDs are for digital scrapbooking (one is my main one and one is my backup) I also do video editing so my third one is for that but I have to go buy another soon for my video backups because it's almost filled up. I have to wait a little while because my dh threatened that if I go buy one more EHD, he is going to buy his hi-def thing he wants and that is a lot more $$$.

Happy Holidays! Hope everyone gets well or stays well!

hi every one ! :)
Good to see you around Jane !

Chris, I hope you could rest a little bit :)

Maggie, nice Xmas party today :D

Vicky, lots of comforting kisses to alyx.

I'm sick like hell (you bet my little guy didn't feel well when he had it ... ) DH went to church with the two girls ... I stayed with Cedric (he's having trouble linked to the medicine he takes, wasn't wise to take him out to churhc ... good thing the treatment is over tomorrow  ), we made the laundry and prepared the kids' dinner together. Well he mostly watched me do things ;) and he talks a lot (my poor head akes so much  ) but he's sweet. And we've just played around with the webcam on my laptop, he was so excited to see himself move on the screen

We plan to have a great christmas tomorrow :)
I wish you all a great lovely christmas with your beloved.
