~ A HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TANIAJPS ~
Remember it's her party tonight at the ndisb chatroom, 10pm EST :D
Now today is going to be so boring for you all after my adventures so far this week: I'm not going out anywhere today, so I'm not likely to run across odd people doing odd things, or get myself stuck in a lift, or get lost in a hospital...
I thought we'd have a go at Wednesday Wishes & Wants, which is all about 3 things you wish/want to get done today, or this week, or sometime in the future. So you might want to get 2 loads of laundry done today and wish to get all your digital stuff organised sometime in the next month. Your wishes and wants can be anything you like, but only 3 - until next week, when you can pick 3 more :) It's just a bit of fun, but I know sometimes I need a goal written down for the day or it just slips by with nothing achieved.
Wednesday Wishes & Wants
1. I want to design and print the invitations/flyers for my Mum's candle party she's having on 2nd December.
2. I wish I wasn't panicking about Christmas and putting off starting card writing or present wrapping, because it won't seem so bad once I start.
3. I want to get the household budget done for the next month, it's pay day today!

Wishes and Wants, eh?
(Be forewarned, some days my bitterness about my financial issues might come in!)
But I promise today I will be as positive as possible.
1. I want (read: need) to have some time to myself today. Preferable working on the computer. Sitting in traffic does *not* count. :P
2. I want to go to the craft store today to look for some pretty papers to use for my mom's Xmas gift.
3. I wish I could get my scrap stuff better organized and labeled and be able to find what I am looking for more quickly.

1) Need to get my daffodils planted - they arrived yesterday. Anyone want to help - it's going to be a brrrr fast job. It's 30 here but the ground isn't frozen. That translates to 0 for you Celsius people.

Whining about the daily trek to and from my DDs pre-school! My WHOE day seems to revolve around dropping her off and picking her, with 5 kids, 3 of which are 2 year olds, and the 4th is 7mos...it is a HUGE production to load, unload, load, and unload them...

LOL...I feel the same when... :oops: TMI alert...I am peeing! Though, even then, I usually have a face or two trying to peer in at me or asking for a cookie or a drink or they all barge in crying because one of them hit the other or WHATEVER! LOL

Todays HAVE TO: make a large turkey for "Pin the Feather on the Turkey" for Alyx's fall party at school tomorrow.
Todays want: Finish packing up and loading the collab kit I did with Ronee and get the newsletter out.
Todays wish: Actually get XCart purchased and hopefully downloaded and start the install.

So, we had a HUGE front move in last night. Our power went out sometime around 3ish and with 7, count 'em 7, UPS's all beeping - LOUDLY - randomly and at different intervals, that was quite a rude awakening. I finally got used to all the noise and fell back to sleep after about 30 minutes. Since the alarm was no longer set, I slept until 9:30!!! Thankfully (for this morning anyway since we totally overslept lol) school was cancelled because there is no power there. Thankfully, we have power now, otherwise we would get very cold, very fast!
So, today I've got my munchkin and the neighbor munchkin here very hyper and very excited that there is no school. Unfortunately, while it counts as a snow day, it isn't one. There is no snow, only bitter cold and extreme winds. Ah well, I guess I'll have help with the turkey...

My WWW for today...
1)Want to get 2 loads of laundry done (lol, you hit the nail on the head with that one Jane!)
2)Want to spend some time with a friend this evening. (If she can make it! ***Fingers crossed***)
3)Wish to get this stupid desk clean and organized someday, lol. It's all my husbands stuff. It's the only place in the house (besides his bedside table) where I let him keep his things the way he wants them. And that turns into a mess really quickly so I clean it every few months. (it's in our living room)
I recently asked him to take care of some paperwork because I didn't want it on my kitchen counter anymore. He said "well put it on my part of the kitchen counter" I politely informed him that he does not have a kitchen counter, lolol. Now he gets all excited if he asks me where to put something and I let him put it on the counter until I can get to it!

Moooooorning, girlies...
I woke up at 5:30am, 6:15, 7:00 (got up to iron), 8:30 to a phone call, and then 9:30 again to a phone call and kids...what a pain...I should have just gotten up at 5:30!! Think of all I could have gotten accomplished. As it is, I am showered, face painted, and needing to print out my Christmas addresses because...
1. I need to address my DH's birthday invites and send them out TODAY!!
2. I want to go shopping all day!!!!
3. I also want to figure out what else is stressing me out and get it done, so I'm not stressed anymore!!
Rachael, you will hear frequently in my house, the words "let me go to the bathroom in peace!!!" (really, I say them daily, thanks to my sweet 4yo!!)
Ronee, I'll send my mil over to do your books if you will come and organize my desk!!!

Connie, I'm with you...this is a great home away from home thanks to all of you superb girls!!!

Afternoon, girls! I have been LESS than productive today work-wise, but I did get to spend a little time getting to know Jane a little better over Hello, AND Connie's got me on the path to ORGANIZATION with ACDSee. :) Also, Mia SLEPT from 6pm last night to 8am this morning!!!! YAY! Anyways, on to my wants/wishes:
1. I want to get organizing in ACDSee--it's addicting! Once you get started you don't want to stop!
2. I want to go shopping for some new winter-ish clothes, although this probably won't happen until tomorrow. We're going to NM next week, and believe it or not, it's pretty chilly there this time of year, so I want a new pair of khakis and some long-sleeved shirts.
3. I WISH something would happen so that we could go home to MI for Christmas this year, because DH just found out today he has to work the day after Christmas. :( I seriously want to cry about that one.
1. I want to get organizing in ACDSee--it's addicting! Once you get started you don't want to stop!

Hello all!
I am late at posting anything! I have been working on a couple of kits that I so desperately want to get out. Also I DH bought me my Christmas early. I got a MAC computer. I love it, but it is soooo different from windows. So have been transferring all of my files....took 2 days! Also trying to figure out the different key strokes for Photoshop CS2.
So here are my three things that I wanted to get accomplished today!
1. Get my blinkies on the site and get them to be clickable! (GOT IT)!!!!!
2. Finish up one of the kits and get it to Vicki sometime before the wee hours of the morning.
3. Laundry/Clean/Trash out all that crappy stuff that no one wants to do. Although I do love to do laundry! :?
Better get back at it if I am to get this all done!

It's been the most blah day. I've not accomplished a darn thing other than a bunch of running around and child wrangling. The weather's horrible, it's finally cooled off but it's been so windy. ( I think I might have a bad attitude )

Happy Wensd and Happy Day Tania, Ever since I've been sick it's hard for me to get into a groove and the job is very demanding now that we're closing.
Ronee & Vicki the kit is fantastic, Jane I pray everything goes well :)
LAst night at church we had this prayer it goes like this:
Imagine being in the mountain feel the cool breeze blowing and imagine a leaf falling, reach out and grab it, while holding it thank God for all your blessings.
Ask Jesus what can you give away or let go to be closer to him.
Think of something and imagine that something is the leave and let go of the leaf in the name of the Lord.
Amen
Since this prayer I felt a burden lift last night the fear of not finding a job soon is gone and I leave it to the Lord.
Have a great day everyone.
I will be gone next wedns going to Amsterdam will be back the following tuesd the 28th.
