Applause please!!! I got it right this morning, a new topic :lol: :lol:
We have had a totally lazy weekend here, sleeping late and doing nothing much. It's been lovely :D And as it is Sunday we're doing a traditional Sunday roast leg of lamb later, with Yorkshire pudding and proper gravy. My DH is the king of proper gravy - but then he's King of The Kitchen, he's a much better cook than I am!
So what is everyone up to on the fine Sunday?

Hi Jane! A lazy day and a hubby cooking dinner, what awonderful Sunday!!
Yesterday was the day we all met for our bridesmaids dresses. My dress is going to work! There is a small stain on it so I have to make sure it comes out, but a trip to the dry cleaners is much better than buying a whole new dress.
And Caitlyn and the other flower girl got their dresses too. OMG, they are so f-ing gorgeous!!!! I have pics but haven't had a chance to resize them. But lets just say, I was blown away. The littel one is 2 yo, and she is so sweet! Cait is 8 and is a knockout. I know, I am bragging, but moms have rights, don't they? :)
And I got to see Kathy's dress. I was practically bawling. My brother is the best guy- has some quirks but don't we all? Anyway, he is 40 and had never met the right woman for him. Well, he couldn't pick a better wife than Kathy. And our families get along great, it is just a wonderful feeling.
Then at lunch, we all sat down, and Kathy burst into tears. She was so happy that we were all together. Mushy mushy day :)
Today, I have got to get some relax time in. I have some more work to do cutting quilt kits and I hope to get some more work done on the faery-wings products. But if I don't get a t least a bit of time to relax, I might just explode. And that won't be pretty.

I'm so glad that you have had an easy weekend ... after last weekend you deserve one!! :)
Plans for today .... hmmmm ... hopefully a little shopping (stressing the word little) I hate it - despise it - loathe shopping - however I NEED to start shopping for Christmas. :) But I would like to get some Christmas decorations.
Then onto a little cleaning (nasty necessesity) ... have to go to the dance studio for a little bit ... make dinner ... hang out with the girls ... ;)
That's about it - nothing overly exciting just life. ;)

Hey Oscraps girls,
Last night I spent loads of time getting organized - ALLLL that junk in my download folder is now shifted over & ready to be cataloged in. But I did my elements folder. (I now have this thing where I can't scrap with a mess on my hard drive). I can't scrap with a mess in my craft area either I guess... but that's different. I reviewed my photos & put together a bunch for my sister to make the annual calendar. So I am ready to scrap now!! Ronee & Carla have some lovely things I need to get busy with!!
Isn't it lovely to be hearing Christmas music? I love it!! I plan to go up to my parents in a couple of hours. It should be a nice day for a drive. Yesterday I never got dressed or left the house - it was LOVELY!! a big treat. :)

Krista-good luck with your shopping, dh and I decided to contribute to Marilyn's 529 plan instead of toys (she's only 1 and doesn't need anything) so that should be easy, and I just have to print out scrapbook copies for everyone else. Maybe I can just avoid shopping all together this year because dh just wants me to scan in his old kid pictures and keep working on his scrapbook. :D

I have to say....again.... I LOVE THIS PLACE! Sorry for shouting, but that's really how I was feeling! I've been trying to get caught up reading all the posts and I have to say I LOVE THIS PLACE.... everyone is supportive of everyone else...and it's genuine.
Jane - I have to ask...what is "Proper Gravy"! Sounds like you are going to have a yummy meal today! My DH loves to cook too, and I feel fortunate not to have to cook every meal. But I do have to say, I can whip up a pretty good spread myself!
Chris - can't wait to see the pictures! Yes - Moms have Bragging Rights!
Krista - when your done cleaning come to Missouri! :D Sounds like you have a full day ahead of you! I need to start shopping to, but refuse to the weekend after Thanksgiving. TOO many people out! Just a quick nosey in whilst dinner is cooking... Hmm, it smells wonderful :P
Carla, "proper" gravy here is made from the juices the meat was cooked in, with added flour to thicken and gravy browning for colour. No instant Bisto stuff, which is all I can manage without making it lumpy :lol: :lol:

Man, I go to church on Sunday morning...I come home and the Daily Moos is already on Page 2!!! Wow, a lot going on for a lazy day...
My hubby's party was a success! Yea!! I haven't downloaded the pics yet. I love how it all worked out though. A lot of people got up and said really great things about my sweetie...Really a night of blessings. He was really blessed. (Thanks for all of the prayers!!!)
To all who are organized/organizing, send those vibes to me. I do have to have a clean craft table to scrap, and it is really messy right now. I have a bunch of presents I want to create. We'll see how it all falls out.

I gotta echo Carla and say that I just absolutely adore this place, too! :) I love reading what you all are up to every day, and I've missed the Moos while I've been on vacation. We'll be back home on Wednesday and I'm looking forward to life going back to "normal," even though it is nice to have extra people around to help me with Mia. :)
I am so excited for the two big announcements! One is being announced today, as I understand... And the other---I can't wait to see who are Cheery O's are going to be!!! And I know I'm not the ONLY one, because *someone* (::cough:: Krista!) has been bouncing around with an aweful lot of nervous energy! ;) Anyone have a Valium? Hee hee.
Anyhooo....my Sunday is going pretty lazy and laid-back so far, which is nice because we had an absolutely insane "adventure" in Mexico yeseterday. Nothing bad happened--just, my MIL got it in her head that Mia (who is only 11 months old) *NEEDED* to see Mexico, so we drove over the border for lunch and then came back, but the traffic was so bad it was an 1.5 hour drive both ways, and Mia was cranky and fussy and miserable the whole time. Ugh. But hey, how many 11-mo's can say they've been to Mexico, right? lol

oh goodness y'all! You have overwelmed me with the moos today! Ok, so maybe it was the adrenaline rush all morning and afternoon in getting everything done for {one of} the BIG announcements today - nothing like cramming it all in at the last minute...
so I made the announcement via email and posting on the blog and turning on products in the store and posting at DST, etc... and now I'm plum tuckered out!
I'm not done yet though... still to do today:
~finish putting all the finishing touches on the Be Thankfull challenge reward
~finish up a bit of stuff for the other big announcement before some of you have heartattacks - I hope you don't think it's going to be posted at 1 minute past midnight though lol
~post my layouts from the weekend but I think that is going to have to wait...

I am so excited for the two big announcements! One is being announced today, as I understand... And the other---I can't wait to see who are Cheery O's are going to be!!! And I know I'm not the ONLY one, because *someone* (::cough:: Krista!) has been bouncing around with an aweful lot of nervous energy! ;) Anyone have a Valium? Hee hee.
