coofffffeeeeeeee..............
Nina you sure know how to make a sleepy faery happy in the morning. :)

I just babbled awy inthe Sat thread, but I thought I would catch up a bit here too.

Our party Friday night was very nice. Scott (10 yo) sees me all dressed up and says:
Wow Mom, you look nice!
Me: Thanks honey. Girls always like it when you say they look nice.
*weird look on S's face*
Me: No, you don't have to say that now- just tuck it away for a few years. But ladies really like it when a gentlemen says how good they look.
S: Well I was just saying it cuz you are my mom.
*silence and shocked looked from S*
No, no! I mean, you do look nice, I am only *telling* you b/c you are my mom.
LOL! Poor kid. We know he has a crush on this one girl but being a boy-- he has no idea what to do about it.

Yesterday, I got tons accomplished, yet nothing accomplished. Ever have a day like that?
I finished 3 more LO's for my dads album. I hope to be able to post them in the gallery today. I helped my DD clean her room. Today I am working is DS's room...ugh... I need a Hazmat Suit for that..... Cleaned and dusted abit downstairs, packed all of the baked cookies downstairs, blah blah blah...

But why does it seem like I still have even more to do today? yikes...
I hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday.

TYYS!

Good Moooooorning O's!! Or as it stand in Europe, Good Afternoon :D

It chilly, we had ice this morning, still no darn snow!! Jamie has pulled the Christmas lights down from the window, he has tried the tree, but he is not going to have any luck (insert the evil laugh) its pre-lit! But that little guy is determined!!!

Its my nephews first birthday today, so going to PArrrTY! If you can at a 1st birthday!! Sarah saw Santa at her Sunday School party yesterday, and he gave her a fairy dressing up outfit, so, of course, Sarah wants to go to the party with wings and a wand! Well who am I to stop her ;)

Hope you all have a great Sunday, only 7 more sleeps til Santa comes WOOT!

Gooooood morning --

Ooooh - my head - I stayed up way too late last night (or early - depends on how you look at it!).

I put a turkey in the oven & will be making stuffing & squash for lunch (I know - sounds like I'm a week off- but that's me).

Thank you for starting the Oooo's Nina! and making breakfast! That was very sweet of you! Your friends are fun too. If anyone from here wants to go play on Nina's board -- go here (http://letsscrap.plusboard.de/) -- and bookmark it

Chris - cleaning children's rooms is quite the adventure, huh?!! Mine is old enough to do her own & does it well - gets rid of the junk. At one point when she asked if she could throw out all the Happy Meal toys - I knew we had arrived..... yesssss! man that stuff clutters life. But it was bittersweet too.

LoL Vicki - about Power Rangers needing to buy groceries - too CUTE!

Cat- we may not have a white Christmas either - and that's rare. We have snow - but it was melting yesterday. Usually we have feet of snow by now.

Have a great day everyone! I managed to set up my printer yesterday & printed the pages for the purse book. My sister & I talked about the best way to adhere them. Sounds like a trip to the craft store is in order for some professional advice.

Good morning to all!

Thanks for breakfast and tea Nina!

I hope everyone gets a relaxing day, or gets what they need done fiinished.

I know we wont get snow this Christmas, but here is hoping that it gets below 80! Having the air conditioner run on Christmas morning is such a bummer! :(

I had such a great day yesterday. We went and picked up our wrapping supplies, a stocking for Trevor, and Jesse wanted me to show him the type of computer chair I wanted. :D All I wanted this Christmas is a comp. chair and a cat. Well, we went and adopted a cat yesterday afternoon! I havent named him yet, but they called him Bajhara. He is solid black and just has the sweetest tempermant. His brother was adopted the very same day, so I was glad they wouldn't have to spend any more time there. This is my first cat, and our only pet, so he will be very spoiled! He curled up and slept next to me all night. He is so sweet! So, I am off to find some great kitty cat digi kits to scrap my Christmas gift! :)

Have a great Sunday everyone!

I enjoyed these little anecdotes today about the kids and all.

I stayed in bed all day yestderday and worked on stuff for the collaboration kit (yes I'm slow).

I have a whole pile of 'make it yourself' trinkets + a scrap album on the gift list, none of which is done, nor do I have the mind to finish any of these projects. Gee I haven't even asked my cousin what she wants which would make sense since I am going to her house, that is if I can actually get my front tires fixed (Walmart has blacklisted my old car as a corporate safety hazard). My brother (the man who has everything) hasn't figured out what he wants yet (last year it was socks) so that's on hold as well...

On the positive side, I have managed to keep the house clean and even have a few decorations up, which for me is great progress.

Good Afternoon!

Sounds like everyone is having some yummy stuff today. Nina's breakfast, yummy, and Connie's turkey....yum...what times's dinner???
Hubbys in the kitchen cooking today. He had to grab a panini maker and is trying it out! So cute!! Taylor's in there helping. I can hear them talking. I love it when they do that! So adorable.
Today, I must get our family in front of the Christmas tree and take photos. Those Christmas cards have to be mailed off this week. I still have a pile of presents that need wrapped and my house is becoming a disaster. Think I might want to have everyone grab their stuff and get it put away! Sounds like a day!
Have a great one!!!

Good evening here in Europe. I just finished all the Christmas cards and send them away. I love it to make them but, Arne, my dh always get the feverish of all the mesh I made.

But not bad, I'm happy about today that I could finised them all, however it's almost time to get to sleep.

Hope you all have a great sunday.

I spent all morning organizing my laptop. It's not done yet but it is sooooo getting there!

AND! I just woke up from a nap with my munchkin. I said, "I'm gonna go lay down, you wanna go?" and he said, "yes" He never wants to lay down during the day so it was really nice getting to snuggle him.

AND! You know what he said!?!?! "You're the bestest mom I've ever known. No, you're the bestest person I've ever known." AAAAAAAW! my sweet boy.

Scrap that Vicki! Hey girls - Vicki shared a screenshot of her desktop & I must say - it's pretty spiffy!

A quick post here because dh is going to be wondering if I'm ready to go. We're driving two hrs to stay over so that he can have elective surgery tomorrow. Then we're staying til Tuesday & coming home. It's general anesth. - so I will go shopping a bit tomorrow by myself when he's sleeping & there will be wireless access -- woot! Oh- and this means I'll be missing work too.

It's gently snowing here... beautiful. Hey girls - I had the coolest find yesterday! I have a wireless router set up (I did it all by myself). Anyway I noticed that my laptop (not wired, never has been) - recognizes my printer hooked to my desktop computer. I was like - that's weird! So I sent a page over & it WORKSSSSSSSSSSSSS like magic. I take no credit & it's totally a mystery - but I am happy.

I thought you had to set up wireless printing routers, blah blah yadda yadda.... so - how does it know?

Good Monday morning! (Although it's still Sunday in the states right now, so I guess I can post here. :? )

Oh did we ever have a wild Sunday! We took a trip north to do some shopping yesterday. The forecast called for just a 40% chance of snow and partly cloudy skies. OK, no big deal. Apparently there are no snow plows in South Korea  The roads were just awful! It's a wonder we didn't crash and then we got to the base only to find they closed it because of the road conditions!! Our family decided to not chance the roads and decided to take the train back. Due to a two hour wait at the station for the next train and then to only get standing room only for three of the five hour trip. It made for quite a long adventure. But what an adventure it was! In the end, we all made it back in one peice but I'm so sore from carrying kids and bags. At least we figured out how to ride the trains! Nothing like trial by fire.

So, today Monday, I'm just going to get this place cleaned and RELAX!

Wow sounds like a crazy trip, Inkspots!! Snow is not my favorite thing!

Connie, that is cool that you can print from you laptop! I'll have to check that out on mine!

That is too cute, Vicki, love those special kid moments!!

Hubby and I had a little date today!! We smuggled in fries to the theater and saw "Stranger than Fiction". It was different but I thought it was good! We had fun! Haven't had a date for a while so it was nice!

Aww, that is so sweet Vicki!!

Connie, that's awesome about setting up the wireless router and printing! Yay!

Sounds like that was an interesting trip, Inkspots! When I lived in Japan, snowplows weren't used much either. I remember having to put snow chains (not tires) on the tires when we traveled to the snowy parts of the country.

Sara, hooray for date night!!

I had to run around and do some errands this afternoon and the stores were packed (note to self... try not to do errands the week before Christmas if possible. lol). Right now we're relaxing and watching Superman Returns.
