Well, it's still Thursday for me, but I thought if there was ever a chance for me to start this thread it's today :D

I'm just about to pack up my computer (the last thing to go in a box lol) so I thought I'd wish everyone a great weekend! I'm sooo excited to get into my new place and be settled again. I still don't know when exactly we can move in, when they're done cleaning I guess, but I figure I'll do some Christmas shopping until I get to start unloading.

Don't forget to check out today's scavenger hunt clue!

Hi Erin! How funny you are, getting this thread in ;)

Have a super weekend and I hope the rest of the packing, cleaning and unpacking goes smoothly and quickly. Happy New Home Day!

Yay, it is Friday. And I am going out tonight. yes, really! DH has been slowly getting back to work, been some ups and downs, but gradually is moving forward. woot! He got almost a full paycheck this week-- first time since August!! Anyway.... he decided he wanted to go to the company Xmas party this year. It is at this really nice restaurant/catering place. BIL's wedding was there a few years back. So we are getting dressed up and going out-- like real adults. Not only do I not have to cook (yay), nor hear my kids complain "I don't like this (double yay), I get to put make=up on, do my hair, and be on--almost like a date with hubby. *happy dance*

Yes. Simple things make me happy. :D

How are all of our sickies doing? *sending chicken soup through the moniter*

Anyone else have exciting, or even not so exciting plans for the weekend?

goooood mooooorning everyone! I'm sitting here feeling all inspired and warmed with the thought of miracles after reading Sally's story in the Help Me thread.

Erin good luck with your move!

Chris and Danielle have fun tonight!

I'm feeling much better today. YAY! I made some really crazy new elements last night and I'll try to get them up today. I'm going to wrap some presents today, clean house, watch "The Devil Wears Prada" and get the mailer out today.

Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

Gooood Morning!!

Thanks Erin for starting us off! I hope all the moving goes smoothly. It makes me feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel when I hear about your finally being settled in! :D

Danielle and Chris....enjoy your dinners! Sounds delicious!

Cant wait to see what you came up with Vicki, and I too love that Sally shared that story with all of us. Thanks Sally!

Just doing some grocery shopping and probably bake some. I am only 7 calendar pages away from finishing EVERYONES calendars for Christmas gifts....and will upload previews tonight. I did 6 calendars in all!

As for the weekend...nothing planned. Jesse is "off" on weekends.....meaning he does not have to go into the office, but he is on call, so we never get to make plans.....just try and do little things here and there. :D

Have a great weekend everyone!

Good Morning! I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday. Mine was okay but I'm looking forward to tomorrow. No particular reason why but I am. LOL

Erin: Have fun moving!
Faerywings: Sounds like you have a great night planned! I'm jealous of your date!
Danielle: Have fun too!
Vicki: Love your new elements! You'll have to let me know what you think about the movie. I'm thinking about buying it but am not really sure what it's all about of if it's any good.

I'm actually finishing up an element and alpha set that I'm really proud of... hope others enjoy it too. LOL Other than that I'm off to bed. Have a great day!

Mooooooorning, OScrapper girlies!!

Danielle, eat a bite of steak for me! And you enjoy, too!

I'm off to lessons...hopefully I'll have a minute this afternoon to drop by - although I've already FOUND Secret Santa O (my best friend!!) today!! WOOOEEE!!! (THanks girlies!!)

Geez am I the only night owl here  Am supposed to be working from home today but here I am at OScraps :)

Trying to do a tutorial on embroidered patches. I'm probably the least experienced designer here and I'm having anxiety attacks about coming up w/my next creation. Everybody here is so GOOD!
----------------------

Erin - Happy decorating. There's something exciting about moving into a brand new place. It's like a blank canvas.

Faery - Enjoy your swanky party. Glad DH is getting back to work.

Danielle - Likewise - wink at one of those cute german waiters for me will ya'

Vicki - you know I love that cumpled paper type stuff. I'm an old paper junkie. I forgot about the Devil wears Prada - maybe I'll try to rent it.

Tiffany - I admire your ambition for getting those calendars done.

Sally - that was a beautiful story. I was amazed at all the miraculous synchronicities. She's a beautiful little girl.

Hi girls,
I know I've been a bit MIA - but I'm SO much better! And it sounds like everyone is getting better too - yay!! Vicki is feeling better, and Chris - I'm so happy to hear about your dh! That's awesome.... and Erin - congrats on the move (although computer withdrawal will be scary - you'll live), and... everyone else (forgive me because I'm at work... and should be ahem working). Today is for office cleaning.

BUT first I have to show you this layout I did last night & I'm going to obnoxiously take up some serious real estate (sorry Vicki). But she helped me with it last night - and here's the story. I get an email from Maya about a new product - and I usually am not compulsive - but this one did it. It should be illegal to have this much fun for $3!! But look at how cozy my loveseat is (one of my dd's sat down in it & said with surprise - 'Oh! it is comfortable!' ha ha) Here's a gallery link (http://www.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2254&limit=recent)

Well, you'll have to mark me down as "STILL sick", although Mia's doing better. I have gotten worse the past two days, but I guess I'd rather get this all out of the way now, rather than be sick next week when we go to Michigan for Christmas!

Well, back to resting for me. Hope everyone is having a better Friday than I am! ;)
