Wakey, wakey, rise and shine!!!!!
It's Friday! There's a new freebie from Leah called Kendall, (http://www.oscraps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=513) which is just bursting with bright, light colours to cheer up the grey day here in England!
Connie, I know it's not cold as you know it... but I'm cold!!! My little fingers as I'm sat here are freezing and I've got the heating on!! I'll have to go round and close some door and see if that helps. Enjoy your short day Connie, and getting your hair done :) After the last couple of days it sounds like you need a quieter day.
No nothing life altering Nancy! TOT yesterday was simply Temptations On Thursday, a little idea brought on by getting the newsletter and being tempted! Then we have WWW , the Wednesday Wishes & Wants, and I think Vicki will be WOW ing us again soon too. There's an awful lot going on!
And congratulations to you, making it onto the Digital Artist Magazine :D It looks like you've got lots going on too!
I have promised myself that today I break out the Christmas card labels and get them printed! First I have to find the list... I tidied up my hard drives a while ago and shifted stuff like that list onto CD because I don't need it that often... But which CD???? Yes, I know I should label them.... :lol: :lol:

Vicki - you made two turkeys! I thought the 2nd kind of looked like a peacock - a pea-rkey.

Well I had a disaster!
I found the CD, and the file, a Publisher one... and it's corrupted! It won't open at all! All other files are OK, just this one.
Fortunately I have most of the addresses saved in an Excel spreadsheet too, but I'd not updated that for a couple of years :oops: So I spent 2 1/2 hours this morning updating that file and deciding to give Mail Merge in Word a try.
I don't know why I didn't do that sooner! All the label sizes were there that I have at home, and I didn't have to keep test printing to see where they printed on the page, like I did when I originally set up the Publisher labels. I've even managed to incorporate a little image in the corner too :D
Now I just have to do the same for all my Mum's addresses, when she's typed them all out for me....

Anna made it on Digital Artist Magazine's creative team--congrats!!! And you can find Digital Artist Magazine here (http://www.digitalartistmagazine.com), though you can pick up back issues at a couple digital stores--I forget which ones. Anyone know?
Anyways, just popping in to say happy Friday to everyone! We are leaving tomorrow to go on "vacation" so I probably won't be around much next week. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving! :)

It's taken me a long time to get here today. That's okay, because my house is clean!! (Relatively, anyway!!) We are having friends over for dinner tonight, so this will be brief...
hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...hopefully I'll have more time to craft and play with everyone tomorrow! At least I did do Ronee's Ad Challenge this week...

My goodness, everyone has been so busy! Is it that time of year already? Is anyone else just tring to hang on until January?
Jane, ugh- somedays I just wish I could take the computer and all things connected and throw it out the window. You must have the patience of a saint to not do that.
Gen- have a wonderful Thanksgiving, enjoy your "vaca" and thank you for the link- can't wait to check it out.
Vicki-- LOL! Your first turkey brought back some funny memeoires when I was teaching PreK- and an sooooo *not* an artist ....LOLOL! Your second turkey was very cute, the first.... wellll.... I agree with Connie- bird flu!
Sally- I love the feeling of a clean house, just wish it wasn't so much work to get it that way. You will be so happy having someone come in to clean. I know I wish I had someone do that for me *giggles*
