I've enjoyed a nice pot of tea, opened all my presents and cards, and in a little while we're going to take a drive to Blackpool and have a look at the sea :)

It`s raining today here where I live.....*argh*
The little people in the house want to go skiing, but there is no snow!! They long for the winter...My 7year DS asked me yesterday "Mummy, will it be winter next year???".....*heartbeat*

Great photo Lenemor! And I have my book about learning Norwegian ready & a Pimsleur talking book - so I need to get busy with that. I can work on it during my hour's drive each day. Are you going to practice with me? lolol

Morning Vicki - be like me - I have no plans of getting dressed (I got away with it Saturday too!) - and just relax. Well I have a couple of things to finish up.

I'm very excited about Tiffany's All About Me -- and Sue 52 inspirations. I have been buying things for an All About Me book. Ah! I should go make a category in ACDSee - so I have those things at hand as I work on that thru the year.

Tomorrow it's back to work... for a busy new year.

Woohoo! Happy birthday Jane!

Hubby and I exchanged Christmas gifts last night (we postponed a little) and I got an awesome coffee maker! So I am enjoying a nice cup of coffee along with the rest of you!!

Tiffany - your new challenge looks great! I've gotta get my butt in gear and post the ad challenge today.

As for me, we had a nice, relatively quiet night. My friends came over. They have two kids- 4 month old and a 16 month old. They are having an addition put on their house and are living at her mom's. They needed to get out desperately! Aside fromthe babies, we all made it ti 12am, my two even stayed up til 1:30. So while it was interesting having 2 babies, 2 kids, 3 dogs and 4 adults hanging it, it wasn't crazy, but it sure wasn't calm either. LOL
And yup, we are having a pajama day here too. There will be enough time the rest of the week to get housewrok and stuff done.

I just met a wee one who will share your birthday...

Gabriella Helen arrived this morning at 6:20 a.m. weighing 3 pounds, 6 oz., and measuring 16-1/4 inches long.

Mother, father and baby are doing well. She'll just be in the local hospital's NICU for probably the next 10 weeks (since she wasn't due till March 11).

So, as you can tell, I'm spending my day on "New Year's Baby Watch."
I'm hoping the other hospital has one soon, so I can go home.

It rained like crazy here today. Our backyard is like a river! The boys wanted to get their swimsuits on and play in the "waterfall"! A bit too cold for that!
