It's another glorious sunny day here in England but I won't mention that it's cold

I ought to have a go at Ronee's Ad Challenge (http://www.oscraps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=397l) or the week will be over! I'm sure I had an idea earlier this wek, but it suddenly got hectic and now I've forgotten!

What's on your agenda for Thursday?

gooood mooooorning jane!

I'm currently downloading my collaboration kit with Holly McCaig! I'm so excited!!! It was totally cool doing a collab with Holly!!!! That woman is a really great designer and so FUN. I'll get it loaded in the store today. Anna will be so happy :) You can check it out here (http://www.oscraps.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=255)

I'm going to be finishing up payroll today and hopefully get some more designing done.

I also need to get laundry and some house cleaning done again - those things just pile up don't they.

I'm also going to go have lunch with my munchkin at school today.

I am soooooooooooo tired.........

Working all day at my MIL's, then will be home working on my Faery-Wings stuff-- soaps to wrap, flyers toprint, labels to print, etc-- when I get home. Plus my house is *thisclose* to being condemned -- my house is just so yucky! JK, it isn't that bad, but it is that bad for me.
<- fw is anal about her house

It never ends, does it?

Hey girls -
my quick page isn't going so quick.. I'm overanalyzing the whole deal - would someone want it shabby chic or more formal? ugh - maybe I'll scrap a bit at lunch.

Hope you get your payroll done Ms. Vicki! And Sally - a quilt show sounds like awesome fun! I'm glad to hear that Anna is VERY happy! Glad to hear that you're moving forward Maggie. You're a very creative person - something will come up. Chris - sounds like you're busy, busy. Take care of yourself dear! Mornin' Jane - you must be busy today - maybe catch you this evening.

I had some great news yesterday! An author agreed to come in April during Nat'l Library Week. She's published 8 novels & some are set in Minnesota. It's Faith Sullivan, Jane - before you ask. :D (the good news is she's not charging us ton of money!). So this means that ALL of my events from Jan 1 thru May 31 are scheduled!! Computer classes, adult reading program, adult author program & Curious George is coming for a children's program (we rent a full sized costume every April for the preschoolers then take a photo of each & every child with the book character, then matte them & the kids LOVE it!) Anyway, having my next 6 months planned is awesome.

Now do you want to see the idea that occured to me on Tues as I was walking past the staff suggested reading displays? I'm going to ask for one of these - and then print some scrapbooking doodles & let my staff doodle away & advertise their featured authors. Doesn't that sound like fun? The info says: "is suitable for cafes, nightclubs, bars, ice cream parlors, restaurants - anywhere a high impact message is needed." (apparently no one has thought of a library, but... I HAVE!)

My staff have mentioned the need for drinks periodically - so we may kee p the martini & olive!

Connie, I hate to disappoint you, but I have been busy not being busy  There goes my reputation as a hard worker

For all the good my painkillers are doing today I might as well be swallowing sweeties! Mostly I am toddling around going "Ouch!" or "Oooh!" and I'm beginning to bore myself! I'm trying so hard to be fit for tomorrow's trip out with DH that maybe I'm making it worse and I need to relax.

That kit is great Vicki :D It's so nice of you both to make a kit in my honour, recognising the Supah Star in your midst

No Chris, it never ends and the good news is... we get to do it all again tomorrow!! Ooh, aren't I cheerful?

I hope Sally is enjoying the Quilt Fair :D And Anna, are you getting your Must Do's done so there's plenty of time to play? Maggie, I hope you find the Job Fair encouraging tonight and don't feel too despondent about being in the job market.

Great news on having your schedule done Connie, and I love those dispaly signs, that's a superb idea! I don't know if I've read Faith Sullivan, I might have to go check out Amazon and see

Morning, girls. Sick today. Ugh. DH came down with something yesterday, and I think I'm getting it, too. :( Between the migraine I had on Monday, and now this, it has not been my week!

Vicki, the collab looks AWESOME! Love it!

Connie, I wish I could come work for you so I could doodle on those fun boards! I love anything that I can doodle on! ;)

Sally--Have fun at the Quilt Show! My mom used to be HUGE into quilting, before she went 100% knitter. ;) Now conversations with her go something like this: "Knitting is the IN thing, honey! All the celebs are learning how to do it, you know. Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow..." "Yes, mom, that's great. But I don't have time for another hobby. I don't even have time for the hobbies I already have!" LOL Anyways...

Back to work. Gonna try to finish up early and then go to bed. *sigh*

Thanks y'all! Jane, I'm thrilled you like your Supah Star kit - you know I was thinking of you the whole time!!!!

Maggie~ I just sent you an email a bit ago about chatting tonight, disregard that now, it's more important for you to go to the job fair! Just let me know when you're avail again. Good luck!

Genevieve~ Oh, girl! I hope you feel better soon!!!!

Connie~ Goodness, congrats on being so organized!!! I'm totally in awe of you lady! I think I need one of those boards for my daily duties...

Sally~ My mom is a bigtime quilter (and Genevieve she also knits lol).

I'm almost done with payroll, I took a break to have lunch with the munchkin. It is always freezing in that cafeteria. It's ridiculous that everyone has to wear their coats through lunch! brrrrr...

I also took a break to get 2 new designers started setting up shop! Woohoo...

I finished payroll - yay me!

I'm finishing up my winter wonderland kit - papers are all done, just have to come up with about 10 more elements  build the previews (and let it sit on my hard drive for a month or so before I get around to posting it LOL - I'm just kidding!)

OK this is just turning out to be a really nice day. You know how you go through those times when you kind of think that your stuff isn't that creative, that it all looks exactly the same, and that you are basically just taking up gigs or bandwidth or whatever techno term that would be, by posting your layouts? Well I have really been feeling like that lately, like my stuff doesn't really look like "scrapbook" pages. So this afternoon I headed over to the DigiShoppe to do my daily check there and they have a new Monthly Newsletter out, you can see it HERE (http://www.thedigishoppe.com/novnews). So I click on the link and literally almost pass out because to my total surprise I (little old boring me) am the Featured Gallery for this Month......WOW It's the first time anything like this has ever happened for me and I'm really shocked.

So thanks for letting me sort of ramble about it here in the Daily Moos.... it's nice to have a place where you can just say stuff ya know.

Hi All!

My plate is officially full, now lol, so I've been trying to get everything a little more organized the last couple of days. Today I have to learn how to use outlook, because I'm thinking what could be better than if all of my lists were digital???

Chris- I need my house clean too or I can't think. But I'm the same way, most people would say my house is clean, but I've got a wild hair for some reason and decided to clean out everyone's closets, the dressers, the nightstands, the phone area and the desk. (when we get a new house I will not be sharing a desk with my messy husband, lol) Anyway, all this cleaning and I broke the vacuum, lol, so I'm just about to pry the cover off and do some repairs. Wish me luck.

Connie- Will you move here and be my librarian? Your library sounds like so much fun! My library is boring, and they don't ever have any books I need, and I've been too lazy lately to drive to the College library. (It's only like fifteen minutes, lol, but I'm so used to everything being right down the road!)

Jane - Sounds like a nap is in order! I think I need one too. (I love me a good nap!)

Maggie - Have fun at the Job Fair!

Hope you feel better Genevieve. I swear by Traditional Medicinals Teas, for colds they have a sampler pack with everything you need to feel better and get some good rest. They should have it at your local grocery store. Check it out! :)

That's all, off to tear apart the vacuum, lol!

Congratulations Anna! That is so awesome!! And your lo's that I see here are AMAZING! You are an excellent scrapper.

Now, I find out that Ms. Ronee is working on lo's for publication! You girls are totally amazing!

Yes, sync is the right term Anna. I use my Palm to keep track of everything, & I sync it to my handheld - and it's a great thing. When I had a calender at work & carried one - oh my life sometimes was a mess (well - when I realized that I can't be in 2 places at once, that is!). My palm keeps me in line though.

This morning I found my bluetooth headset for my phone (there's no cord on it - so it tends to go in pockets, the bottom of my bag, etc...), but then when I went to log in to do timesheets - I just sat there! I knew it would happen one day. I had to call my Finance Office & admit to the fact that my brain blew up. (Now that password is in a spreadsheet I started with those kinds of things to avoid needing to make that call in the future).
