Oh no, you didn't think you were getting off doing your Daily Moos at the weekend, did you??

Today we have a friend coming round to measure our guitar because apparently he is going to build one! Just for fun and to see if he can I think!

Then the gardener is coming to lop back our tree and tidy our garden. He is also going to help DH untangle a radio antenna wire from the aerial on the chimney! DH is an amateur radio fan, and was setting up a new aerial with this wire a couple of months ago, throwing it over the roof (we live in a bungalow!) from one side to the other. But then it got stuck and it's been dangling there ever since!

I'm off to get ready now, but I'll be back later to check on you all :D

Jane, your post last night was *hysterical*-- had me rotf!
I also want to thank you for bringing the moos here. Ireally enjoy starting my day on a fun and positive note.

Anna and Vicki, what a funny story of how you met. I have met a few people from online and have always had a good time. But it is always a good idea to meet in a very public place. Hope you have lots of fun Connie.

Maggie, are you feeling better yet? Those Z packs are strong, so hopefully they are kicking in.

Yesterday, I spent 3 1/2 hours working on Quick Books for my MIL. Not the way I want to spent my computer time. And my one eye got all messed up and I had to take my contacts out. It has been itchy and runny. Tonight I have a big family reunion, my dad's family whom most of them, I don't know/never met/wouldn't know if I feel over them. And if I have to wear my glasses! uuuggghhhhhh!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Wasn't Jane's post great! She's so much fun. And yes the daily Moos are uplifting. thank you for that Jane! You know what's kind of cool? Yesterday's problems seem to get left behind & we move on.

Hope you're feeling better Maggie!

Oh Chris - my eyes feel like they have gravel in them too! So I'm taking a break from the puter screen today too. It's supposed to be warm here this weekend - so tomorrow I'm going to replant the lily bulbs I dug up Wed. after work. Jane - no housekeeper here or gardener - dat be me! I have a bed that has gone bad with quack grass (and it isn't ducky!). It's nasty stuff that's VERY invasive. So, I'm moving everything out - and going to kill the weeds with chemicals next summer. That's the plan. But I have a TON of lily bulbs to plant!

Last night I spent time with my sister on Hello - we explored it fully. I'll put a shout out here for her to join us. (she sometimes shows up when I'm talking about her). She introduced me to digital & is far better at it than I am (and more productive too! but I'll let her tell you that's it cuz I'm here socializing ha ha).

Have a great Saturday ladies!

Ohh thank you ladies, I feel all warm and fuzzy again :D Or maybe that's the pills??

OK, so it's 2.40pm: our friend has visited, the tree is lopped and I'm shattered   Our handyman friend also sorted out the aerial for DH, and took away our old computer desks for a bonfire! I do sometimes wish I was able to do all this stuff myself: it's odd, I can visualise it all in my mind, like pottering in the garden or even something simple like scratching my head and then the message seems to get garbled before it turns into anything like action. Perhaps that's one way to describe being disabled: it's all there, but it's garbled and nothing works the way it should.

Soooo, Vicki asked about my designing... well, you've already seen the Christmas Front Door: I did all that from scratch, and loved seeing what I imagined turn into reality, and working out how to get the light shining through the window, and how to simulate the woodwork above the door where the glass is. And those bricks in the half circle above the door had to be done individually to get them to fit, but I loved every minute of fiddling with it all.

I've done two kits, an add-on and two more kits are in production, but I can show you one of those partly done. It's the Sweetly Pink one, last on the page. Be honest, but kind: I've had two knockbacks this week and my confidence is low

This is a preview page, not for general consumption, so it's not listed anywhere on the site. The Happy Moo preview page (http://www.thehappymoo.com/dailymoos/preview.htm)

Good Moooorning ladies. Yippppeeee it's Saturday, finally and I have the house to myself this morning :D Rylie went to a party last night and slept over, the boys are having to work a baseball camp for little kids this morning and DH is getting a massage. YES my DH is all ABOUT pampering himself LOL. But to be fair he used to always try and get me to do the massage thing but frankly girls it just is toooo weird for me, I can't stand someone I don't know touching me and trying to stay still and force myself to RELAX for that long she makes me more stressed .... I'm weird I guess.

So I'm working on laundry .... ugggg and obviously having a little computer time hehehehe.

Jane is the gardener cute .........lol I just always wanted to have a cute gardener.

Chris I work on the computer all day for my job and now have to wear reading glasses over my contacts at work.........that is so attractive and makes me feel OLD and NERDY LOL. But at least I can see.

Yes Miss Maggie how are you feeling?
and
Edhish how is that Puppy doing?
I'm off to post the Love O Layout thread for the weekend. If you scrap this weekend post a link and play with us, its fun and nice to both leave love and get the love.

Well now Anna, I couldn't possibly say...... after all, I'm a happily married woman

Actually I suppose he's not bad, just a couple of years younger than DH but unfortunately he has a Liverpool accent, and I am not too keen on Liverpudlians, or "Scousers" as they are called.

Now my DH has a lovely voice, especially on the phone, which was useful as we lived 200 miles apart before we married! :P

So cool Jane! I love your cards!!!

A cute gardner... that would be lovely. My hubby thinks we have a cute gardner - that would be me LOL

Anna~ I looooooove massages. I think I'm a massage tramp cuz I just melt anytime anyone touches my shoulders LOL. My son is so funny, anytime he sees me getting stressed out, he comes over and rubs my shoulder for like 30 seconds and says, "all better?" SUCH A SWEETIE!

Today we are going over to some friends house for pumpkin carving!

Hi all!

I'm not planning to do anything today, lol. It's been such a busy week, I didn't even make my todo list today, and I always have a list, lol. I'm gonna stay in my jammies all day, unless I can get my mom to watch the boy, because I really wanna go see The Prestige. But I'm thinking I'll have to wait until next weekend.

I'll probably spend the day watching movies, and organizing ACDSee stuff. And working on my new project. ;)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
