Ok - my sis will roll her eyes, but....
remember how we bought my parents a computer... there was mouse training... then last Sunday we did digital camera 101. (you saw photos of my niece :) ). Well I had to find an easy way for her to transfer the photos & delete the memory card. So, I put acdsee Photo Manager on her computer & now she can do it one click! Finished. The software downloads the photos into a new folder, deletes them off the card & asks her if she's finished!
Well today, I remoted into their computer using vnc (which Heidi had set up) for the first time. Mom wants hard copies of these photos. We haven't given them a printer yet... She has a photo printer, but no paper ...
But many of the photos had red eye - so I taught her how to use remove red eye in acdsee. She had to do it because my view of her screen is distorted. So after doing 20 - she got into the routine. Now we're uploading 65 photos to my Shutterfly account & I will have them mailed directly to her. She will have them by Thursday!!
Is that not too cool?!! She lives 2 hrs away - so it's a bit of a drive to just pop over often. And I installed Hello - so I can see when she's online & say hi. :) Isn't technology amazing?!!
