I am giving myself a break this year. I decided to not send out cards. I have a picture I was going to use, but it needed some tweaking. Then add in the addressing, the personaly notes ( I can't just sign names, gotta write something different to everyone ;) ) I don't have the time. I'd rather spend some quiet time with my kids instead. So, whew~ sigh of relief on that decision.
But I think I would like to send an email card to everyone. The picture of my kids won't need much work since it isn't going to get posted on anyone's fridge or doorway :)
But For those of you who have done this before, what is the best way to go about it? Is there a website that can help me design a card and send it? Or would it be just as easy to create a card from scratch, using oscraps stuff of course, and send it out just as a regular attachment?
Thanks ladies.I have sent a card here and there from Hallmark.com but never on a bigger and more personal scale.

I guess you can find many site that would do the trick, but it might be more personnal if it's self made ? just like you would create any other layout ? :)

Ever since I have discovered digiscrapping, I will never send a homemade or storebought card again. I also dont print them out. Sending them by email saves sooooooo much time and money. And, they like that they don't have tons of cards all over there house. I just create mine in my photo editing software and send as an attachment through my regular email.
I don't know of any sites that you can create a card, but most card companies and email sites like Yahoo and Hotmail have ecards already made you just type your note and send.
Have fun!

I did a very quick google and sites that let you make your own e-card often require you to use their own images. One I found that allowed your own images, requires registration and all that sort of useless stuff that comes with it
If it were me, I'd design it myself, and either send it out as an attachment or upload it somewhere and send out the link. :D

At 3Scrapateers you can send anything in the gallery as an ecard and personalize some colors and stuff. So you could upload there and send it. I don't know if there are other galleries that are that way, I'll have to look around.

What if you made a small card, as a say 8x8 or 6x6 digi page.
You can send it by e-mail (compressed of course) and then your friends could print it out and put it on their fridge or something else.
A friend used shutterfly.com for her cards, just another thought.
