Happy Sunday ladies! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
We are having another scarily beautiful day in NJ. It seems like spring. And as much as I am not complaining about the temps, it really does have me concerned. However, the kids and I had fun outside yesterday. They took out their scooters and I took the dogs for a walk. Atone point, I had to try Cait's scooter. As a neighbor went by, I swear he was laughing at me LOL
It seemed appropriate to watch An Inconvenient Truth, the documentry about global warming. I had gotten it for Christmas, and if you have not seen it, it is a must see IMHO. I know I have admitted to being a pretty political person, but this transends politics.
I am so proud of my kids, they were so interested in the movie and asked so many questions about what we can do to help. We do a lot here already. Lots of recycling, walk whenever possible,look for products with less packaging and I use lots of reusable plasticware for lunches, watch out electricity use. So we went over all of that again, and I sent them some links to some kids sites on global warming. It is one of the best things I feel I have passed on to them- the care of our environment.
Anyway, I hope no one thinks I am trying to get on a soap box (it has been known to happen LOL) but I just wanted to say how I am proud of my kids and well, I wanted to share that :)
So what fun plans do you have for today?
Tomorrow is my mom's b-day, so we are going to her house to celebrate today.
Tiff and gen, did you girls get to scrap and veg?
And Tiff, any news on the house?
Connie, how sweet of you to bring that fur baby in. We have always rescued our pets too. Right now we have 3 cats, at one point we had 6! 3 is a good number.Two just does not seem enough :)
mmmm, pancakes. I am not a b-fast person, but I don't mind pancakes for lunch or dinner. Have any of you had the IHOP Hearty Grains? They have whole wheat and walnuts and are sooo good.
Carla, how awful withthe sleeping. I go through that too. It is probably not the best way to handle it, but when I got comepletely "off cycle" I end up taking a tylenol pm a few nights in a row, just to re-set my body. I hope you feel better, the lack of sleep is prob not helping your cold.
Nina, glad you are feeling better! I grabbed your sketch challenge template and I can't wait to use it.
Sara, I don't have much luck with pancakes either. Bisquik mix seems to do the best for us.
Erin, did you have fun at lunch? Isn't it great getting to be an adult? I remember when my kids were babies, I would end up talking to telemarketers jsut so I could hear an adult voice hahahah!

Yes - I agree that 2 cats aren't enough. This new little one is sweet, but kind of hyper because she's JUST SO happy that she's here. And the other cats are thoroughly disgusted! My dd has named her Seven - so she's here to stay.
And Heidi & I press on with our 'plan'. Heidi suggested yesterday that we let the daily O people in first - so you can try things out. So you will be our honored guests. (a small problem at the moment though - so I'm waiting for Heidi to come). Then we'll throw a big party & invite the whole world.
But my list is way shorter today! I need to scrap two LO's for the Amazing Race & then keep working on my list. I tend to chat (hard for you to believe I'm sure) - but that's how I learn.

Chris~ I love that you tried the scooter. I play on all of Alyx's things too - mostly because it makes him laugh and I'm just a big kid too. And, I agree, global warming definately transcends politics. IMHO, if people can't see this is real simply by looking at the changes in our weather patterns, they are blind. We do our part around here too! Well, except for the energy usage of our 500 computers in this house - ok, that's an exageration, but we have a LOT of puters.
I spent this morning working on XCart, now I'm just waiting on an modules maker to log in and do some edits in the back end. Hopefully we'll have that running very soon. I can't wait!
I'm getting ready to finish carrying the indoor decorations back up the attic and then head outside and get all of the outdoor decorations down and put away.
After that, I'll be working on the Oscraps Snowball Fight that starts tomorrow - barring any ladder mishaps during my previous statement... it's VERY windy out there today lol
We have another designer making her debut tomorrow as well, so I'll be making sure everything is ready for that! WOOHOO!!! Can y'all believe how much the O is growing!

Ok Chris - it's time.... IT'S TIME!! (just don't crash our site - because I'll have some explaining to do when Heidi gets back! :lol: ) We thought we could build a website in a week -- man! It was a bit more involved than we thought!

After many late nights, early mornings, neglected families, as Connie mentioned we decided to give you guys sneak peak of our site. We would love feedback on it. So email us at info@digiscrapinfo.com I still have a lot to do and the list reflects it. And I told Connie she can't have a chat room until everything else is working smoothly...
So come over and enjoy. And as Connie said, we are not leaving Oscraps. This is our home and we are here to stay whether you like it or not OR until Vicki kicks us off...
And I did learn a lesson last night. Don't play with something on your website, get frustrated and just go to bed, because then you will wake up you will have a message saying "sis, we have a problem." My dh laughed at me when I told him what I did. (He's in a computer technical field so he understands what I did.)

Just so you guys know-- I never got my registration email. I tried to re-register but says my user name was taken. So the site has my info, but I can't log in.
