Oh look at me I opened a thread first!! My time is 5.56am and sad bunny that I am I have been sat here frantically trying to finish my mum's calendar using Ronee's stuff. Off to the UK tomorrow to visit family - from France - so pressies to wrap, washing and ironing to finish etc...all with a rotten head cold...definitely a virus sharing season in our house!!

Wish everyone here at Oscraps a Happy New Year - Bonne Anne - and be back in the New Year ready to scrap - I like the sound of dragons!!

Katey, I hope you feel better. Just about everyone I know is sick. Try to take it easy if you can.

Not much news here this morning. MIL and FIL are taking the kids out for today, so once I get the house a bit more tidy, I am going to play!

Have a wonderful day.

Oh wait! It is Wishes and Wants (the day off on Mon is screwing me up with what day it is!)

WWW:
1. I want to get a few more gifts out from under the tree.
2. I want to get some more pictures/kits organized with ACDSee
3. I wish my house was bigger to put all of the new stuff away without having to re-arrange things completely! (ooooh, just thought of this, while G-parents have kids, I can get in their rooms with garbage bags!!!).

Morning, everyone! Rough night last night. I was up with DH most of the night because he came down sick. Sounds like he got that stomach bug my dad & brother had on Christmas Eve. So far none of us girls have come down with it...knock on wood! Luckily, it's just a 24-hour thing, so it will hopefully pass quickly!

It's back to work with me today, but I'll probably just do a half day. I want to take my sister out for lunch and shopping to celebrate both our birthdays (which are next month) before she goes back to Germany (early next week). Hopefully that will happen today! :) We'll see.

Also, I just released a new kit today called Allstar Grunge--a guy kit for guys of ALL ages! ;) You can check it out here (http://www.oscraps.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=16&products_id=428).

I think this is the first time posting here...
yes...
I AM a "lurker!"

My son is going to Sydney for New Years and then on to Otago NZ for studies abroad for two months. I know we have some aussies here...any advice, and ideas for him while he is there! I'm a little bit scared...ya know...because he is so far away. The good news is that he will be "legal" since the drinking age is 18 (thank GOD!) and I don't have to deal with criminal activity. For those who live outside the U.S. we have a 21 year old drink age which creates quite a problem for parents of college students (that would be me!).
Yes...in the U.S. we can go and get married at 18 ...fight in a war at 18 ...but our brains at 18 in the US are not able to handle alcohol. Regardless of how people feel about drinking...it is a parent's nightmare to have them have to "hide" it and not be able to help them.

So now our son has a huge layover in an Australian airport and he tells me "No problem Mom, I'll just go to the bar and have a beer!" He'll be 20 in January!

He bought a travel guide book...
Would love to hear some Australian/NZ ideas for him to explore from people who live there!

Oh...Gen...your Allstar Grunge is a WOW!

Good Moorning, everyone!!

Hi Katey...thanks for welcoming us this morning! Have a wonderful jaunt to the UK...and keep the bugs from getting y'all!!!

Chris, enjoy your day in!! (I always get more done when everyone is out!!) And scrap to your heart's content.

Vicki, wow! What a list...I say ditch the laundry...I think I'll do enough for both of our families today!!

Gen, can't wait to play with your new kit today after I get my work done!! It looks soooo fun, and it will go perfectly with my tomboy daughter as well as my grungy son (and my other two dds, too!) Thanks for the fun designs...but, don't let the bugs get you girlies, either!!

Sue!! Welcome to the Os (Are you sure you haven't posted here before???) I'm glad for your son. I have a dear friend who lives in Melbourne (I know that is far from Sydney, but it's still on the continent!!) and I have friends from NZ, too. Keep breathing...he'll be fine (Easy for me to say...my oldest is only 12! I can't think about when they are old enough to move away from me!! YIKE!!). And on the bright side, now you can visit!! Yippeee!! Road trip!!

Hi Tiff...I had fun chatting on hello last night! and I did finally pack it in around 1am! (I had had a 3 hour nap yesterday afternoon!! YEA!!)

And I did a LO with Vicki's 4 calling birds paper for the Ad Challenge (finally!). You can see it here...15 Years (http://www.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2422&limit=recent)

My WWWs?

1. I want to finish my work before I play (really, I do...)
2. I want my laundry to magically get washed, folded and put away!
3. I wish a wonderful week for everyone here at OScraps!!!![/url]

www

wish i had a third arm and 5 extra hours! lol

want to get my basement/master suite finished sometime THIS century, we are running low on room.

whining because my PPD meds don't seem to be helping much, I'm praying they perk me up soon, I'm tired of feeling like this.

Christmas was great though. I got new cordless phones, I've been using a corded phone for almost 8 months, and, WOW, you forget how useful the cordless are until you feel tethered to your kitchen everytime the phone rings! lol

Moooorning girlies! Just a quick post to say hello. I'm so sorry everyone is getting sick, that just sucks. I'm thankful that we've all stayed healthy here, and hoping that it stays that way.

Chris - My big plan for the day is taking the garbage bag to DS room too. We got new stuff, that means we have to get rid of old stuff. Like you, we just don't have the room (plus I don't like to deal with clutter)

Vicki - I'm excited about X-cart! I am working on my portion of the kit today. I should have it up tonight or first thing in the morning. Let me know if I'm messing you up and I'll light a fire under my ass, lol.

Everyone else, have an awesome Wednesday! I hope you get all your wishes and wants finished today!

Is it Wednesday? I've bee leaving messages for people all day, saying Tuesday, oops, I mean Wednesday.
Monday/Tuesday days (yesterday) really mess me up in the newspaper world.

So, here's my WWW
I want to clean my apartment before Friday, when a friend comes to visit.
I wish I had more hours to my day to get everything done.
I want to scrap this weeked.
I want to watch more documentaries (in my quest to find something different than the typical hollywood junk).

So, that's my www.
Hope everyne has a good hump day.
Sue, I'll think happy thoughts for your son. I'm sure he'll be great in Aussie Land. My aunt spent a year over there, in a teacher exchange. Other than a few "anti" american comments, tossed her way, she loved it.

wish I had a bigger house or less crap. LOL

I sooooooo hear you on this one!

I didn't get much on my list done today. I did a bit on Xcart, did several loads of laundry (folded and put away too- go me!) and worked on a new kit, so, um, Ronee, you aren't holding me up at all! I realized you all still had til tomorrow to upload so I decided to wait until it was all in to start organizing it.
