I'm back to work as well .... :( I sure would have loved some more holiday, but I guess you have to work from time to time in order to enjoy holidays even more ;)

Good morning all!!!

I talked to my sister last night and she is having contractions about every few hours and is 2cm already. They wont admit her until she is 5, so im hoping that is today for her sake. I am gonna be an Aunt soon!!! Oh, im so excited!

Off to look at some houses again today!

My Christmas tree is down and all Christmas is packed away for another year! Yeah!!! DH wanted to keep it up all year...absolutely not! lol!!

Today's my birthday, but I don't really have anything special planned. Our friends that usually watch Mia for us are out of town until tomorrow, so we can't go out tonight. Maybe this weekend. :) But it's my birthday, so I'll take every opportunity to do whatever I want today (within reason--I mean, I can't NOT work today, or ignore my mommy duties...oh, well)!

Haven't been here in a while. Came back last week from our Holiday trip more exhausted than I left. I don't think I need to explain travelling with a toddler to any of you ? He has developped one strange habit that is waking up at 4h30 in the morning singing loudly "Petit Papa Noel" which is a french popular christmas song. DS wanting to pull out Santa from the Christmas tree, pulled a little too hard and it fell on him, and he was still singing "Petit Papa Noel"...so that was the end of our Christmas tree, we took down right after this week-end.
I'm tired and drowsy this morning especially that I had a wisdom tooth extracted yesterday morning.
Thinking that I need to be more organised in my scrapping in 2007. Anyway wishing all of you all the best for 2007 and congrats to the new aunt to be. Keep us posted !

i went to the doctor this morning to consult with him about the gardasil vaccine (the cervical cancer one)... you may have seen the commercials for it. well, i found out that the entire process is spread out over 6 months, 3 shots, and about $500! and my insurance won't cover a dime. :( eck! oh and because it is so new, they have no idea if i will need a booster shot in 5 years! anyway, i guess it's worth it...

oh a happier note, today is mine and jeremy's anniversary! woo hoo! :)

Bummer re: the vaccine. I wanted to look into it since my dd is going to be 9 this year and they recommend it between 9 and mid 20's right?

faery - yes, the age range for the vaccine is 9 to 26... which is part of my problem. i only have about six months left to get my first shot. :( i'd love to put it off a little longer! BUT, you might want to wait a little longer for your dd, since it's so new. maybe more of the insurance companies will warm up to it in the next few years.... we can only hope so!

and thanks! we're going out for an incredible dinner on saturday night to celebrate! :)
